Genesis 16
1 Now Sarai [Mockery], Avram [Exalted father]’s wife, bore him no children. She had a servant, an Egyptian [person from Abode of slavery], whose name was Hagar [Flight].
А Сарайя, жената на Аврама, не му раждаше деца; но, като имаше слугиня египтянка, на име Агар,
2 Sarai [Mockery] said to Avram [Exalted father], “See now, Adonai has restrained me from bearing. Please go in to my servant. It may be that I will obtain children by her.” Avram [Exalted father] sh'ma ·hear obey· the voice of Sarai [Mockery].
Сарайя рече на Аврама: Виж сега, Господ не ми дава да раждам; моля ти се влез при слугинята ми; може би ще придобия чадо, чрез нея. И Аврам послуша това, което каза Сарайя.
3 Sarai [Mockery], Avram [Exalted father]’s wife, took Hagar [Flight] the Egyptian [person from Abode of slavery], her servant, after Avram [Exalted father] had lived ten years in the land of Canaan [Humbled], and gave her to Avram [Exalted father] her husband to be his wife.
И тъй, след като Аврам беше преживял десет години в Ханаанската земя, Сарайя Аврамовата жена, взе слугинята си Агар, египтянката, и я даде на мъжа си Аврама да му бъде жена.
4 He went in to Hagar [Flight], and she conceived. When she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
И той влезе при Агар и тя зачна; и като видя че зачна, господарката й стана презряна в очите й.
5 Sarai [Mockery] said to Avram [Exalted father], “You have brought this wrong on me! I gave my servant into your bosom, and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes. Adonai judge between me and you.”
Тогава Сарайя рече на Аврама: Поради тебе ми дойде тая обида. Дадох слугинята си в твоите обятия; а като видя, че зачна, аз станах презряна в очите й. Господ нека съди между мене и тебе.
6 But Avram [Exalted father] said to Sarai [Mockery], “Behold, your maid is in your hand. Do to her whatever is good in your eyes.” Sarai [Mockery] dealt harshly with her, and she fled from her face.
А Аврам рече на Сарайя: Ето, слугинята ти; стори с нея, както ти се вижда угодно. Прочее, Сарайя се отнасяше зле с нея, така щото тя побягна от лицето й.
7 Ha mal'ak Yahweh [The Angel of He sustains breathing] found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain on the way to Shur.
Но ангел Господен я намери при един воден извор в пустинята, при извора на пътя за Сур;
8 He said, “Hagar [Flight], Sarai [Mockery]’s servant, where did you come from? Where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from the face of my mistress Sarai [Mockery].”
и рече: Агар, Сараина слугиньо, от где идеш? и къде отиваш? А тя рече: Бягам от лицето на господарката си Сарайя.
9 Ha mal'ak Yahweh [The Angel of He sustains breathing] said to her, “Teshuvah ·Completely return· to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.”
А ангелът Господен й рече: Върни се при господарката си, и покори се под властта й.
10 Ha mal'ak Yahweh [The Angel of He sustains breathing] said to her, “I will greatly multiply your offspring, that they will not be counted for multitude.”
Ангелът Господен тоже и рече: Ще преумножа потомството ти, до толкоз, че да не може да се изброи, поради своето множество.
11 Ha mal'ak Yahweh [The Angel of He sustains breathing] said to her, “Behold, you are with child, and will bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael [Pays attention God], because Adonai has sh'ma ·heard obeyed· your affliction.
После ангелът Господен й каза: Ето ти си зачнала, и ще родиш син; да го наименуваш Исмаил, защото Господ чу скръбта ти.
12 He will be like a wild donkey among men. His hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. He will live opposite all of his brothers.”
Той ще бъде между човеците, като див осел; ще дига ръката си против всекиго и всеки ще дига ръката си против него; и той ще живее независим от всичките си братя.
13 She called the name of Adonai who spoke to her, “You are El Ro'i Ra'ah [God who sees me / God who provides],” for she said, “Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?”
Тогава Агар даде на Господа, Който й говореше, това име: Ти си Бог, Който вижда; защото рече: Не видях ли тук аз Онзи, Който ме вижда?
14 Therefore the well was called Beer Lahai Roi [Well of the one who lives and sees]. Behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.
Затова, тоя кладенец се наименува Вир-лахай-рой
15 Hagar [Flight] bore a son for Avram [Exalted father]. Avram [Exalted father] called the name of his son, whom Hagar [Flight] bore, Ishmael [Pays attention God].
И Агар роди син на Аврама; и Аврам наименува сина си, роден от Агар, Исмаил.
16 Avram [Exalted father] was eighty-six years old when Hagar [Flight] bore Ishmael [Pays attention God] to Avram [Exalted father].
А Аврам беше на осемдесет и шест години когато Агар му роди Исмаила.
