Exodus 13
1 Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo:
2 “Sanctify to me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel [God prevails], both of man and of animal. It is mine.”
Santifícame todo primogénito, la abertura de toda matriz en los hijos de Israel así de los hombres como de las bestias: porque mío es.
3 Moses [Drawn out] said to the people, “Remember this day, in which you came out of Egypt [Abode of slavery], out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Adonai brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.
Y Moisés dijo al pueblo: Tenéd memoria de aqueste día, en el cual habéis salido de Egipto, de la casa de servidumbre, como Jehová os ha sacado de aquí con mano fuerte, por tanto no comeréis leudado.
4 Today you go out in the first month Aviv ·Ripening grain (of a new crop), 1·.
Vosotros salís hoy en el mes de Abib.
5 It shall be, when Adonai shall bring you into the land of the Canaanite [Descendant of Humbled], and the Hittite [Descendant of Trembling fear], and the Amorite [Descendants of Talkers], and the Hivite [Wicked], and the Jebusite [Descendants of Thresher], which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this aboda ·service· in this month.
Y cuando Jehová te hubiere metido en la tierra del Cananeo, y del Jetteo, y del Amorreo, y del Heveo, y del Jebuseo, la cual juró a tus padres, que te daría, tierra que corre leche y miel, harás este servicio en aqueste mes:
6 Seven days you shall eat matzah ·unleavened bread·, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to Adonai.”
Siete días comerás por leudar; y el séptimo día será fiesta a Jehová.
7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and no leavened bread shall be seen with you. No yeast shall be seen with you, within all your borders.
Por los siete días se comerán los panes sin levadura; y no será visto en ti ni leudado ni levadura en todo tu término.
8 You shall tell your son in that day, saying, “It is because of that which Adonai did for me when I came out of Egypt [Abode of slavery].”
Y contarás en aquel día a tu hijo, diciendo: Por esto que Jehová hizo conmigo cuando me sacó de Egipto.
9 It shall be for a sign to you on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that Adonai’s Torah ·Teaching· may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand Adonai has brought you out of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
Y serte ha como una señal sobre tu mano, y como un memorial delante de tus ojos, para que la ley de Jehová esté en tu boca; por cuanto con mano fuerte te sacó Jehová de Egipto.
10 You shall therefore keep this regulation in its season from year to year.
Por tanto tú guardarás este rito en su tiempo de año en año.
11 “It shall be, when Adonai shall bring you into the land of the Canaanite [Descendant of Humbled], as he swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it you,
Y cuando Jehová te hubiere metido en la tierra del Cananeo, como te ha jurado a ti y a tus padres, y cuando te la hubiere dado:
12 that you shall set apart to Adonai all that opens the womb, and every firstborn which you have that comes from an animal. The males shall be Adonai’s.
Harás pasar a Jehová todo lo que abriere la matriz: y todo primogénito que abriere la matriz de tus animales, los machos serán de Jehová.
13 Every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck; and you shall redeem all the firstborn of man among your sons.
Mas todo primogénito de asno redimirás con cordero: y si no lo redimieres, cortarle has la cabeza. Asimismo redimirás todo humano primogénito de tus hijos.
14 It shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ that you shall tell him, ‘By strength of hand Adonai brought us out from Egypt [Abode of slavery], from the house of bondage.
Y cuando mañana te preguntare tu hijo, diciendo: ¿Qué es esto? Decirle has: Jehová nos sacó con mano fuerte de Egipto, de casa de servidumbre.
15 When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, Adonai killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of animal. Therefore I sacrifice to Adonai all that opens the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’
Y endureciéndose Faraón para no dejarnos ir, Jehová mató en la tierra de Egipto a todo primogénito desde el primogénito humano hasta el primogénito de la bestia: y por esta causa yo sacrifico a Jehová todo primogénito macho, y redimo todo primogénito de mis hijos.
16 It shall be for a sign on your hand, and for symbols between your eyes: for by strength of hand Adonai brought us out of Egypt [Abode of slavery].”
Serte ha pues como una señal sobre tu mano, y por un memorial delante de tus ojos: que Jehová nos sacó de Egipto con mano fuerte.
17 When Pharaoh had let the people go, God didn’t lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines [To roll in dust (As an insult)], although that was near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and they teshuvah ·completely return· to Egypt [Abode of slavery];”
Y como Faraón dejó ir al pueblo, Dios no los llevó por el camino de la tierra de los Filisteos, que estaba cerca, porque dijo Dios: Que quizá no se arrepienta el pueblo, cuando vieren la guerra, y se vuelvan a Egipto.
18 but God led the people around by the way of the wilderness by the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea]; and the children of Israel [God prevails] went up armed out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
Mas hizo Dios al pueblo que rodease por el camino del desierto del mar Bermejo: y subieron los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto armados.
19 Moses [Drawn out] took the bones of Joseph [May he add] with him, for he had made the children of Israel [God prevails] swear, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones away from here with you.”
Tomó también consigo Moisés los huesos de José, el cual había juramentado a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Visitando os visitará Dios, y haréis subir mis huesos de aquí con vosotros.
20 They took their journey from Sukkot, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.
Y partidos de Socot asentaron campo en Etam a la entrada del desierto.
21 Adonai went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them on their way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night:
Y Jehová iba delante de ellos de día en una columna de nube, para guiarlos por el camino: y de noche en una columna de fuego para alumbrarles, para que anduviesen de día y de noche.
22 the pillar of cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night, didn’t depart from before the people.
Nunca se partió de delante del pueblo la columna de nube de día, ni de noche la columna de fuego.
