Deuteronomy 10
1 At that time Adonai said to me, “Cut two stone tablets like the first, and come up to me onto the mountain, and make an ark of wood.
১সেই সময়ত যিহোৱাই মোক কৈছিল, “তুমি আগৰ বাৰৰ দৰেই দুখন শিলৰ ফলি কাটি লোৱা আৰু পর্বতৰ ওপৰত মোৰ ওচৰলৈ উঠি আহাঁ। তাৰ লগতে কাঠৰ এটা চন্দুকো নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰি ল’বা।
2 I will write on the tables the words that were on the first tables which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.”
২তুমি আগেয়ে যি দুখন শিলৰ ফলি ভাঙি পেলালা তাৰ ওপৰত যি কথা লিখা আছিল, মই তাকে এই ফলি দুখনত লিখি দিম। পাছত তুমি সেই দুখন লৈ চন্দুকত ভৰাই থবা।”
3 So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two stone tablets like the first, and went up onto the mountain, having the two tables in my hand.
৩সেইবাবে মই চিটীম কাঠৰ এটা চন্দুক সাজিছিলোঁ আৰু আগৰ দৰেই শিলৰ দুখন ফলি কাটি লৈছিলোঁ; তাৰ পাছত ফলি দুখন হাতত লৈ পৰ্বতৰ ওপৰলৈ উঠি গ’লো।
4 He wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the Ten Words, which Adonai spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly: and Adonai gave them to me.
৪যিহোৱাই প্রথম ফলি দুটাৰ ওপৰত যি কথা লিখিছিল, এই দুটাৰ ওপৰতো তাকে লিখি ফলি দুখন মোক দিলে। এই কথাবোৰেই হৈছে তেওঁৰ দহ আজ্ঞা যি তেওঁ আপোনালোক সকলো একগোট হোৱা দিনা পৰ্বতৰ ওপৰত জুইৰ মাজৰ পৰা আপোনালোকক কৈছিল।
5 I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they are as Adonai enjoined me.
৫তাৰ পাছত যিহোৱাৰ আজ্ঞা অনুসাৰে মই পৰ্বতৰ পৰা উভটি নামি আহি মই তৈয়াৰ কৰা সেই চন্দুকৰ ভিতৰত ফলি দুখন থলোঁ; সেইবোৰ এতিয়াও তাতে আছে।’
6 (The children of Israel [God prevails] traveled from Beeroth Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron [Light-bringer] died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar [Help of God] his son ministered in the priest’s office in his place.
৬তাৰ পাছত ইস্ৰায়েলীয়াসকল বোৰোৎবনেই যাকনৰ পৰা মোচেৰালৈ যাত্ৰা কৰিছিল; সেই ঠাইতে হাৰোণৰ মৃত্যু হৈছিল আৰু তেওঁক মৈদাম দিয়া হ’ল; তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ ইলিয়াজৰে তেওঁৰ সলনি পুৰোহিতৰ কাৰ্য কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
7 From there they traveled to Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water.
৭সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকে গুদগোদালৈ যাত্ৰা কৰিছিল আৰু তাৰ পৰা যটবাথালৈ গৈছিল। যটবাথাত বহুতো জুৰি আছিল।
8 At that time Adonai set apart the tribe of Levi [United with], to bear the ark of Adonai’s covenant, to stand before Adonai to minister to him, and to bless in his name, to this day.
৮সেই সময়ত, যিহোৱাই তেওঁৰ নিয়ম চন্দুক বৈ নিবৰ কাৰণে, পুৰোহিতৰ কার্য কৰিবৰ উদ্দেশ্যে তেওঁৰ সন্মুখত থিয় হবলৈ আৰু তেওঁৰ নামত লোকসকলক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিবলৈ লেবীয়া ফৈদক মনোনীত কৰিলে। এই সকলো কাম তেওঁলোকে এতিয়ালৈকে কৰি আছে।
9 Therefore Levi [United with] has no portion nor inheritance with his brothers; Adonai is his inheritance, according as Adonai your God spoke to him.)
৯সেই কাৰণে লেবীয়াসকলে তেওঁলোকৰ ইস্রায়েলীয়া ককাই ভাইসকলৰ মাজত সম্পত্তিৰ কোনো ভাগ বা দেশৰ অধিকাৰ পোৱা নাই। আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ কথা অনুসাৰে যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকৰ আধিপত্য।
10 I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights: and Adonai sh'ma ·heard obeyed· me that time also; Adonai would not destroy you.
১০পূৰ্বৰ দৰেই সেইবাৰো মই চল্লিশ দিন আৰু চল্লিশ ৰাতি পৰ্বতৰ ওপৰত আছিলোঁ আৰু সেই সময়তো যিহোৱাই মোৰ নিবেদন শুনিছিল। আপোনালোকক ধ্বংস কৰি দিয়াৰ ইচ্ছা যিহোৱাৰ নাছিল।
11 Adonai said to me, “Arise, take your journey before the people; and they shall go in and possess the land, which I swore to their fathers to give to them.”
১১যিহোৱাই মোক কৈছিল, “তুমি উঠি লোকসকলক পৰিচালনা কৰি আগে আগে যাত্ৰা কৰা; মই তেওঁলোকৰ পূর্বপুৰুষসকলৰ ওচৰত যি দেশ দিবলৈ প্রতিজ্ঞা কৰিছিলোঁ সেই দেশলৈ গৈ তেওঁলোকে যেন তাক অধিকাৰ কৰে।”
12 Now, Israel [God prevails], what does Adonai your God require of you, but to fear Adonai your God, to walk in all his ways, and to 'ahav ·affectionately love· him, and to abad ·serve· Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
১২ইস্ৰায়েলীয়াসকল, আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই এতিয়া আপোনালোকৰ পৰা কি বিচাৰিছে? তেওঁ কেৱল বিচাৰিছে যেন আপোনালোকে আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাক ভয় কৰে, তেওঁৰ সকলো পথত চলে, তেওঁক প্ৰেম কৰে, আপোনালোকৰ সকলো মন আৰু প্ৰাণেৰে সৈতে ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ আৰাধনা কৰে;
13 to keep Adonai’s mitzvot ·instructions· and statutes, which I enjoin you today for your good?
১৩লগতে আপোনালোকৰ ভালৰ কাৰণে আজি মই আপোনালোকৰ ওচৰত যিহোৱাৰ যি সকলো আজ্ঞা আৰু বিধি আপোনালোকক দিছো, সেই সকলোকে যেন পালন কৰে।
14 Behold, to Adonai your God belongs heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth, with all that is therein.
১৪শুনক, আকাশ আৰু তাৰ ওপৰৰ সকলোবোৰেই, পৃথিৱী আৰু তাত থকা সকলোবোৰেই আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ।
15 Only Adonai had chasak ·to set one’s affection· for your fathers to 'ahav ·affectionately love· them, and he chose their offspring after them, even you above all peoples, as it is today.
১৫কেৱল আপোনালোকৰ পূর্বপুৰুষসকলৰ প্রতি যিহোৱা সন্তুষ্ট আছিল বাবেই তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক প্ৰেম কৰিছিল। তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ পাছত, তেওঁলোকৰ বংশধৰ আপোনালোকক আন সকলো জাতিৰ মাজৰ পৰা বাচি ল’লে। আজিও আপোনালোক তেওঁৰ সেই মনোনীত জাতি।
16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.
১৬সেয়ে, আপোনালোকে আপোনালোকৰ অন্তঃকৰণৰ চুন্নত কৰক; আপোনালোক ঠৰডিঙীয়া নহ’ব।
17 For Adonai your God, he is Elohei of the elohim ·God of the deities·, and the 'Adonei of the adoneim ·the Lord of the lords·, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who does not respect persons, nor takes reward.
১৭কিয়নো আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা, ঈশ্বৰৰো ঈশ্বৰ আৰু প্ৰভুৰো প্ৰভু, মহান ঈশ্বৰ; পৰাক্রমী আৰু ভয়ঙ্কৰ ঈশ্বৰ; কাৰো মুখলৈ নাচায় আৰু উৎকোচো নলয়।
18 He does execute right judgments for the orphan and widow, and 'ahav ·affectionately loves· the foreigner, in giving him food and clothing.
১৮তেওঁ পিতৃহীন আৰু বিধৱাৰ বিচাৰ নিস্পত্তি কৰোঁতা আৰু বিদেশীক এনে দৰে প্ৰেম কৰে যে তেওঁলোকক অন্ন-বস্ত্ৰও দিয়ে।
19 Therefore 'ahav ·affectionately love· the foreigner; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
১৯আপোনালোকেও বিদেশীক প্ৰেম কৰিব; কিয়নো মিচৰ দেশত আপোনালোকো বিদেশী আছিল।
20 You shall fear Adonai your God; you shall abad ·serve· him; and you shall dabak ·cling to, worship· him, and you shall swear by his name.
২০আপোনালোকে আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাকেই ভয় কৰিব আৰু তেওঁৰেই আৰাধনা কৰিব; তেওঁতেই লাগি থাকিব আৰু তেওঁৰ নামেৰেই প্রতিজ্ঞা কৰিব।
21 He is your tehilah ·praise song·, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things, which your eyes have seen.
২১তেওঁৱেই আপোনালোকৰ প্ৰশংসা, তেওঁৱেই আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ। আপোনালোকে নিজ চকুৰে যি সকলো মহৎ আৰু ভয়ঙ্কৰ কাৰ্যবোৰ দেখিছে তাক তেওঁ আপোনালোকৰ কাৰণেই কৰিছে।
22 Your fathers went down into Egypt [Abode of slavery] with seventy persons; and now Adonai your God has made you as the stars of the sky for multitude.
২২আপোনালোকৰ যি পূৰ্ব–পুৰুষসকল মিচৰলৈ গৈছিল তেওঁলোক সংখ্যাত মাত্র সত্তৰ জন আছিল আৰু এতিয়া আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকৰ সংখ্যা আকাশৰ তৰাবোৰৰ দৰে অসংখ্য কৰিলে।
