Zechariah 6
1 And I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
পরে আমি আবার উপরদিকে তাকালাম, আর দেখলাম চারটে রথ দুটো পাহাড়ের মাঝখান থেকে বের হয়ে আসছিল, পাহাড় দুটো ছিল ব্রোঞ্জের।
2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot, black horses;
প্রথম রথে ছিল লাল ঘোড়া, দ্বিতীয়টাতে ছিল কালো,
3 and in the third chariot, white horses; and in the fourth chariot, spotted-red horses.
তৃতীয়টাতে ছিল সাদা, এবং চতুর্থটাতে ছিল বিভিন্ন রংয়ের ঘোড়া, সব ঘোড়াই ছিল শক্তিশালী।
4 Then I spake, and said to the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
যে স্বর্গদূত আমার সঙ্গে কথা বলছিলেন তাঁকে আমি জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, “হে আমার প্রভু, এগুলি কী?”
5 And the angel answered and said to me, These are the four Winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
স্বর্গদূত আমাকে উত্তর দিলেন, “এগুলি স্বর্গের চারটি আত্মা সমস্ত জগতের প্রভুর সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকবার পরে এগুলি বের হয়ে আসছে।
6 The black horses, which are thereto, go forth into the north country, and the white go forth after them; and the spotted go forth into the south country.
কালো ঘোড়ার রথটা উত্তর দেশের দিকে যাচ্ছে, সাদা ঘোড়ার রথটা যাচ্ছে পশ্চিমদিকে এবং বিভিন্ন রংয়ের ছাপের ঘোড়ার রথটা যাচ্ছে দক্ষিণ দিকে।”
7 And the red ones went forth, and sought to go, even to walk to and fro through the earth. And he said, Go, walk ye to and fro through the earth! So they walked to and fro through the earth.
শক্তিশালী ঘোড়াগুলি যখন বের হল, তারা সারা পৃথিবী ঘুরে বেড়াবার জন্য অস্থির হয়ে উঠেছিল। তখন তিনি বললেন, “পৃথিবীর সমস্ত জায়গা ঘুরে দেখো!” তাতে তারা পৃথিবী সমস্ত জায়গা ঘুরে দেখতে গেল।
8 Then he cried to me, and spake to me, saying, Behold, these that go forth toward the land of the North shall execute my wrath against the land of the North.
তারপর তিনি আমাকে ডেকে বললেন, “দেখো, যারা উত্তর দেশের দিকে যাচ্ছে তারা উত্তর দেশে আমার আত্মাকে সুস্থির করেছে।”
9 And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
পরে সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য আমার কাছে উপস্থিত হল,
10 Take from those of the captivity, from Heldai, from Tobijah, and from Jedaiah, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah, the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon;
“ব্যাবিলনের বন্দিদশা থেকে ফিরে আসা হিল্দয়, টোবিয় ও যাদায়ের কাছ থেকে তুমি সোনা ও রুপো নাও। সেদিনই সফনিয়ের ছেলে যোশিয়ের বাড়ি যাও।
11 take from them silver and gold, and make a crown, and set it upon the head of Joshua, the son of Josedech, the high-priest,
তুমি সোনা ও রুপো নিয়ে একটি মুকুট তৈরি করো, সেটা যিহোষাদকের ছেলে যিহোশূয় মহাযাজকের মাথায় পরিয়ে দাও।
12 and speak to him, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: — Behold a man whose name is the Branch, He shall spring up from his place, And he shall build the temple of Jehovah.
তাঁকে বলো সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, ‘এই সেই লোক যার নাম পল্লব, তিনি নিজের জায়গা থেকে বেড়ে উঠবেন এবং সদাপ্রভুর মন্দির গাঁথবেন।
13 He shall build the temple of Jehovah, And he shall bear the majesty, And sit and rule upon his throne, And be a priest upon his throne, And the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
হ্যাঁ, তিনিই সদাপ্রভুর মন্দির গাঁথবেন, এবং তাঁকে রাজার সম্মান দেওয়া হবে আর তিনি নিজের সিংহাসনে বসে শাসন করবেন। তিনি একজন যাজক হিসেবে সিংহাসনে বসবেন ও এই দুই পদের মধ্যে কোনও অমিল থাকবে না।’
14 And the crown shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen, the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.
এই মুকুট হেলেমের, টোবিয়ের, যিদায়ের ও সফনিয়ের ছেলে হেনকে স্মারক হিসেবে সদাপ্রভুর মন্দিরে দেওয়া হবে।
15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of Jehovah; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me to you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of Jehovah, your God.
যারা দূরে আছে তারা এসে সদাপ্রভুর মন্দির নির্মাণ করতে সাহায্য করবে, আর তোমরা জানবে যে সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু আমাকে তোমাদের কাছে পাঠিয়েছেন। তোমরা যদি যত্নের সঙ্গে তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য পালন করো তবেই এসব হবে।”
