Zechariah 3
1 And he showed me Joshua, the high-priest, standing before the angel of Jehovah, and the adversary standing at his right hand, to accuse him.
Me mostró al sumo sacerdote Josué de pie ante el ángel de Yahvé, y a Satanás de pie a su derecha para ser su adversario.
2 And Jehovah said to the adversary: — Jehovah rebuke thee, thou adversary, Even Jehovah, who hath chosen Jerusalem, rebuke thee! Is not this man a brand plucked out of the fire?
Yahvé dijo a Satanás: “¡Yahvé te reprende, Satanás! ¡Sí, Yahvé, que ha elegido a Jerusalén, te reprende! ¿No es éste un palo ardiente arrancado del fuego?”
3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
Josué estaba vestido con ropas sucias y estaba de pie ante el ángel.
4 And he [[the angel]] spake and said to them [[the angels]] that stood before him, saying, Take off the filthy garments from him. And to him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and will clothe thee with goodly apparel.
Este respondió y habló a los que estaban delante de él, diciendo: “Quitadle las vestiduras sucias”. A él le dijo: “He aquí que he hecho pasar tu iniquidad de ti, y te vestiré con ropas ricas”.
5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head! And they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of Jehovah stood by.
Dije: “Que le pongan un turbante limpio en la cabeza”. Entonces le pusieron un turbante limpio en la cabeza, y lo vistieron; y el ángel de Yahvé estaba de pie.
6 And the angel of Jehovah declared to Joshua and said:
El ángel de Yahvé sólo aseguró a Josué, diciendo:
7 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, And if thou wilt keep my charge, Then thou shalt also rule my house, And shalt also keep my courts, And I will give thee guides among these that stand by.
“Yahvé de los Ejércitos dice: ‘Si andas en mis caminos, y si sigues mis instrucciones, entonces tú también juzgarás mi casa, y también guardarás mis atrios, y te daré un lugar de acceso entre estos que están de pie.
8 Hear now, O Joshua, high-priest, Thou and thy companions, who sit before thee! For they are men that are signs. For, behold, I will cause to come my servant, the Branch.
Escucha ahora, Josué, el sumo sacerdote, tú y tus compañeros que se sientan delante de ti, porque son hombres que son una señal; porque, he aquí, yo sacaré a mi siervo, el Renuevo.
9 For, behold, the stone which I have laid before Joshua, Upon this one stone shall be seven eyes; Behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith Jehovah of hosts; And I will remove the iniquity of this land in one day.
Porque he aquí la piedra que he puesto delante de Josué: en una piedra hay siete ojos; he aquí que yo grabaré su inscripción’, dice el Señor de los Ejércitos, ‘y quitaré la iniquidad de esa tierra en un día.
10 In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, Shall ye invite every one his neighbor Under the vine and under the fig-tree.
En aquel día — dice el Señor de los Ejércitos — invitarás a cada uno a su prójimo bajo la vid y bajo la higuera”.
