Titus 1
1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Christ Jesus, for the faith of God's elect, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

Sadika yeniyi na umanya uwu vikutipela huvalila ya wumi wa magono goha gangali mwishu. Chapanga alagazili kutipela wumi hati kwakona mulima kuwumbwa. (aiōnios g166)
3 but in his own seasons manifested his word through the preaching with which I was intrusted by the commandment of God our Saviour:
Lukumbi lweluganikiwa pelwahikili. Akaligubukula muujumbi waki. Nene nagotoliwi ujumbi wenuwo niukokosa kulandana na malagizu ga Chapanga, Msangula witu.
4 to Titus, true child after the common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Saviour.
Nikuyandikila veve Tito, mwana vangu wa chakaka musadika yitu. Nikuganila ubwina na sadika kuhuma kwa Dadi Chapanga, na kwa Yesu Kilisitu, musangula witu.
5 For this cause I left thee behind in Crete, that thou shouldst set in order the things that are wanting, and appoint elders in every city, as I directed thee;
Nakulekili ku Kilete muni uvika bwina mambu gala gegavi gakona kuvya bwina, na kuvahagula vagogo vilongosi va msambi wa vandu vevakumsadika Kilisitu mukila muji, ngati chenakulagazili,
6 if any one is without reproach, the husband of one wife, having believing children, that are not accused of dissoluteness, or unruly.
gogo chilongosi wa msambi wa vandu vevakumsadika Kilisitu iganikiwa avya mundu mwangali kuhoka, mweana mdala mmonga ndu, na vana vaki viganikiwa kuvya vevakumsadika Kilisitu, vangali kuvya na matendu gahakau na vangayidakila.
7 For a bishop must be without reproach, as God's steward; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, not a striker, not greedy of base gain,
Ndava muni gogo chilongosi wa msambi wa vandu vevakumsadika Kilisitu ndi myimila wa lihengu la Chapanga. Iganikiwa kuvya mundu angahoka na angameka angali ligoga amala chigaligali, angali luhonda angagana kupata mashonga.
8 but hospitable, a lover of what is good, discreet, just, holy, temperate,
Avya mundu mweikalibisa vayehe na mweigana mambu gabwina na avya mngolongondi na mweikita geigana Chapanga na avya mweajiwusili neju kwa Chapanga na mweihotola kujilongosa mwene.
9 holding fast the sure word according to what he was taught, that he may be able by sound teaching both to exhort, and to refute the gainsayers.
Iganikiwa kukamula ujumbi wula weusadikiwa ngati chauwuliwa. Ndi cheihotola kuvapela vangi mtima kwa mawuliwu gegavi gachakaka na kuvahotola kugafiyula mabudilu ga vala vevakugabela mawuliwu ago.
10 For there are many unruly vain talkers and deceivers, especially they of the circumcision;
Muni vavi vandu vamahele, neju vala vevihuma muchikundi cha Vayawudi ndi vevabwelili vevamsadika Kilisitu, ndi vanang'omo, na vakuvabudisa vangi kwa uyimu wavi.
11 whose mouths must be stopped, since they overturn whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of base gain.
Ndi yiganikiwa kugagunisa malovi gavi, muni vakuvakita vandu vakotoka kuyuwangana mutamilu yamahele na kuvawula mambu gangaganikiwa kuwuliwa, vikita chenicho ndava ya mnogo uhakau wa kupata chiyonjokesu cha mashonga.
12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said: “The Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, slothful gluttons.”
Hati mmonga wavi wa vamlota vave ndi mewa Mkilete, ajovili, “Vakilete vijova udese magono goha, ngati hinyama hihakau, vahutulu na vakata!”
13 This testimony is true; for which cause rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,
Mambu ago geajovili ndi gachakaka, ndi uganikiwa uvaywangila neju, muni vahotola kuyima chakukangamala musadika ya chakaka.
14 not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.
Vavawula kuleka kuyuwanila miluhumu ya Vayawudi yangali chindu amala mihilu yeyihuma kwa vandu vevabeli uchakaka.
15 To the pure all things are pure; but to the defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure, but both their mind and conscience are defiled.
Chindu chochoha chanyambiswi kwa vandu vevanyambiswi palongolo ya Chapanga, nambu kawaka chochoha chechinyambiswi kwa vandu vahakau na vangamsadika Chapanga, muni maholo na mtima wavi wa kukumbuka kukita gabwina amala uhakau uhalibiki.
16 They profess that they know God, but by their works they deny him, being abominable and disobedient, and for every good work reprobate.
Vandu ngati avo vijova kuvya vammanyili Chapanga, nambu kwa matendu gavi vakumbela. Vandu veviyomesa neju na viyuwana lepi la mundu, vihotola lepi kuhenga lihengu loloha la bwina.
