Romans 5
1 Therefore being accepted as righteous through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;
Emomiyo, kaka koro oseketwa kare kuom yie, wan gi kwe gi Nyasaye kuom Ruodhwa Yesu Kristo,
2 through whom also we have had admission into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory which God will confer.
ma kuome waseyude kuom yie yor chopo e ngʼwono makoro wan-goni. Bende wail kuom geno mar duongʼ mar Nyasaye.
3 And not only so, but we rejoice in afflictions also, knowing that affliction produceth endurance,
To ok mano kende, to wanamor bende kuom chandruok mwayudo, nikech wangʼeyo ni chandruok kelo kinda,
4 and endurance proof [[of faith]], and proof [[of faith giveth]] hope;
to kinda kelo kido maber to kido maber kelo geno.
5 and hope will not disappoint us; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which hath been given to us.
To geno ok kuod wiwa, nikech Nyasaye oseolo herane ei chunywa kuom Roho Maler, ma osemiyowa.
6 For while we were yet without strength, in due season Christ died for the ungodly.
Nikech, e kinde mowinjore, kane pod ok wanyal, to Kristo notho ne joricho.
7 Now hardly for a righteous man will one die; perhaps, however, for a benefactor one might even dare to die.
Ok en gima yot mondo ngʼato otho ni ngʼat makare; dipo nono ngʼato ditho ni ngʼat maber.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
To Nyasaye nyiso herane moherowago kama: Kane pod wan joricho, to Kristo nothonwa.
9 Much more then, being now accepted as righteous through his blood, we shall be saved through him from the [[coming]] wrath.
Kaka koro oseketwa kare kuom rembe, donge ibiro reswa chuth kendo moloyo e mirimb Nyasaye nikech En!
10 For if while enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more having been reconciled shall we be saved by his life;
Nikech kane pod wan wasik Nyasaye to ne oketowa osiepene kuom tho mar Wuode, koro kaka wasebedo osiepene donge ibiro reswa moloyo nikech ngimane!
11 and not this only, but also having joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
To ok mano kende, wamor bende kuom Nyasaye, nikech Ruodhwa Yesu Kristo, ma kuome oseketwa wabedo e winjruok gi Nyasaye.
12 So then as through one man sin entered into the world, and through sin death, and thus [[death]] came through unto all men, because all sinned—
Emomiyo mana kaka richo nodonjo e piny nikech ngʼato achiel, kendo richono nokelo tho; e kaka tho nobiro kuom ji duto, nikech ji duto noketho,
13 (for all the time before the Law sin was in the world; but sin is not set to one's account when there is no law.
chutho richo ne ni e piny kane pok Chik obetie. To richo ok kwan kaka richo ka Chik onge.
14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the manner in which Adam transgressed; who is a type of him who was to come.—
Kata kamano, tho nobedo gi teko kuomgi chakre ndalo Adam nyaka ndalo Musa, kendo noloyo nyaka joma ne ok oketho chik kaka Adam, mane en kido mar Jal mane onego obi.
15 But the free gift was not as the transgression. For if through the offence of the one the many died, much more hath the grace of God, and the gift which is by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ, abounded to the many.
Mich mar Nyasaye ok chal gi timo richo. Nikech ka ji mangʼeny notho nikech timo richo mar ngʼat achiel, to nobedo maber manade ka ngʼwono mar Nyasaye kod mich manobiro kuom ngʼwono mar ngʼat achielno, ma en Yesu Kristo, nochiw mogundho ni ji mangʼeny.
16 And the free gift is not like what happened through one man who sinned. For sentence of condemnation followed one offence; but the free gift is a justification after many offences.
To bende mich Nyasaye opogore gi gima richo mar ngʼat achiel nokelo. Bura nobiro nikech richo mar ngʼato achielno mokele kum, to richo mar ji mangʼeny nokelo ngʼwono mane omiyo ji duto obedoe e winjruok gi Nyasaye.
17 For if by one trespass death reigned through the one man, much more will they who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.)—
Nikech ka richo mar ngʼat achiel nomiyo tho olocho kuom ngʼat achielno, koro joma yudo ngʼwono mogundho kod mich mar ngima makare donge biro bedo gi loch mar ngima maduongʼ moloyo kuom ngʼat achielno, ma en Yesu Kristo.
18 As then through one trespass all men have come under condemnation, so through one act of righteousness all obtain the gift of righteousness unto life.
Emomiyo mana kaka bayo yo mar ngʼato achiel nokelo kum ni ji duto, e kaka tim makare mar ngʼat achielno miyo ji duto bedo makare kendo yudo ngima.
19 For as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of the one man will the many be made righteous.
Nikech kaka tamruok winjo wach mar ngʼat achiel nomiyo ji mangʼeny odoko joricho, e kaka winjo wach mar ngʼat achielno biro miyo iketo ji mangʼeny kare.
20 Moreover the law came in in addition, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded much more;
To Chik nomedi mondo richo omedre. To kama richo nomedoree, ngʼwono nomedoree moloyo,
21 that as sin reigned in death, so grace might reign through righteousness to everlasting life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
