< Romans 2 >
1 Wherefore thou art without excuse, O man that judgest, whoever thou art. For wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
ཧེ པརདཱུཥཀ མནུཥྱ ཡཿ ཀཤྩན ཏྭཾ བྷཝསི ཏཝོཏྟརདཱནཱཡ པནྠཱ ནཱསྟི ཡཏོ ཡསྨཱཏ྄ ཀརྨྨཎཿ པརསྟྭཡཱ དཱུཥྱཏེ ཏསྨཱཏ྄ ཏྭམཔི དཱུཥྱསེ, ཡཏསྟཾ དཱུཥཡནྣཔི ཏྭཾ ཏདྭད྄ ཨཱཙརསི།
2 But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practise such things.
ཀིནྟྭེཏཱདྲྀགཱཙཱརིབྷྱོ ཡཾ དཎྜམ྄ ཨཱིཤྭརོ ནིཤྩིནོཏི ས ཡཐཱརྠ ཨིཏི ཝཡཾ ཛཱནཱིམཿ།
3 And dost thou suppose, O man, who art judging those who do such things, and art thyself doing the same, that thou wilt escape the judgment of God?
ཨཏཨེཝ ཧེ མཱནུཥ ཏྭཾ ཡཱདྲྀགཱཙཱརིཎོ དཱུཥཡསི སྭཡཾ ཡདི ཏཱདྲྀགཱཙརསི ཏརྷི ཏྭམ྄ ཨཱིཤྭརདཎྜཱཏ྄ པལཱཡིཏུཾ ཤཀྵྱསཱིཏི ཀིཾ བུདྷྱསེ?
4 Or dost thou despise the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God is leading thee to repentance?
ཨཔརཾ ཏཝ མནསཿ པརིཝརྟྟནཾ ཀརྟྟུམ྄ ཨིཤྭརསྱཱནུགྲཧོ བྷཝཏི ཏནྣ བུདྡྷྭཱ ཏྭཾ ཀིཾ ཏདཱིཡཱནུགྲཧཀྵམཱཙིརསཧིཥྞུཏྭནིདྷིཾ ཏུཙྪཱིཀརོཥི?
5 But according to thy hardness and impenitent heart, thou art treasuring up for thyself wrath against the day of wrath and of the manifestation of the righteous judgment of God,
ཏཐཱ སྭཱནྟཿཀརཎསྱ ཀཋོརཏྭཱཏ྄ ཁེདརཱཧིཏྱཱཙྩེཤྭརསྱ ནྱཱཡྻཝིཙཱརཔྲཀཱཤནསྱ ཀྲོདྷསྱ ཙ དིནཾ ཡཱཝཏ྄ ཀིཾ སྭཱརྠཾ ཀོཔཾ སཉྩིནོཥི?
6 who will render to every one according to his works;
ཀིནྟུ ས ཨེཀཻཀམནུཛཱཡ ཏཏྐརྨྨཱནུསཱརེཎ པྲཏིཕལཾ དཱསྱཏི;
7 everlasting life to those who by patient continuance in well-doing seek for glory, and honor, and incorruption; (aiōnios )
ཝསྟུཏསྟུ ཡེ ཛནཱ དྷཻཪྻྱཾ དྷྲྀཏྭཱ སཏྐརྨྨ ཀུཪྻྭནྟོ མཧིམཱ སཏྐཱརོ྅མརཏྭཉྩཻཏཱནི མྲྀགཡནྟེ ཏེབྷྱོ྅ནནྟཱཡུ རྡཱསྱཏི། (aiōnios )
8 but to those who are contentious, and disobedient to the truth; but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and indignation.
ཨཔརཾ ཡེ ཛནཱཿ སཏྱདྷརྨྨམ྄ ཨགྲྀཧཱིཏྭཱ ཝིཔརཱིཏདྷརྨྨམ྄ གྲྀཧླནྟི ཏཱདྲྀཤཱ ཝིརོདྷིཛནཱཿ ཀོཔཾ ཀྲོདྷཉྩ བྷོཀྵྱནྟེ།
9 Tribulation and distress will be upon every soul of man whose works are evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek;
ཨཱ ཡིཧཱུདིནོ྅ནྱདེཤིནཿ པཪྻྱནྟཾ ཡཱཝནྟཿ ཀུཀརྨྨཀཱརིཎཿ པྲཱཎིནཿ སནྟི ཏེ སཪྻྭེ དུཿཁཾ ཡཱཏནཱཉྩ གམིཥྱནྟི;
10 but glory, honor, and peace, to every one whoso works are good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
ཀིནྟུ ཨཱ ཡིཧཱུདིནོ བྷིནྣདེཤིཔཪྻྱནྟཱ ཡཱཝནྟཿ སཏྐརྨྨཀཱརིཎོ ལོཀཱཿ སནྟི ཏཱན྄ པྲཏི མཧིམཱ སཏྐཱརཿ ཤཱནྟིཤྩ བྷཝིཥྱནྟི།
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ ཝིཙཱརེ པཀྵཔཱཏོ ནཱསྟི།
12 For as many as have sinned without a law, will also perish without a law; and as many as have sinned under a law, will be judged by a law,
ཨལབྡྷཝྱཝསྠཱཤཱསྟྲཻ ཪྻཻཿ པཱཔཱནི ཀྲྀཏཱནི ཝྱཝསྠཱཤཱསྟྲཱལབྡྷཏྭཱནུརཱུཔསྟེཥཱཾ ཝིནཱཤོ བྷཝིཥྱཏི; ཀིནྟུ ལབྡྷཝྱཝསྠཱཤཱསྟྲཱ ཡེ པཱཔཱནྱཀུཪྻྭན྄ ཝྱཝསྠཱནུསཱརཱདེཝ ཏེཥཱཾ ཝིཙཱརོ བྷཝིཥྱཏི།
13 for it is not the hearers of a law who are righteous before God, but the doers of a law will be accounted righteous; —
ཝྱཝསྠཱཤྲོཏཱར ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ སམཱིཔེ ནིཥྤཱཔཱ བྷཝིཥྱནྟཱིཏི ནཧི ཀིནྟུ ཝྱཝསྠཱཙཱརིཎ ཨེཝ སཔུཎྱཱ བྷཝིཥྱནྟི།
14 for when the gentiles, who have no law, do by nature what is required by the Law, these, having no law, are a law to themselves;
ཡཏོ ྅ལབྡྷཝྱཝསྠཱཤཱསྟྲཱ བྷིནྣདེཤཱིཡལོཀཱ ཡདི སྭབྷཱཝཏོ ཝྱཝསྠཱནུརཱུཔཱན྄ ཨཱཙཱརཱན྄ ཀུཪྻྭནྟི ཏརྷྱལབྡྷཤཱསྟྲཱཿ སནྟོ྅པི ཏེ སྭེཥཱཾ ཝྱཝསྠཱཤཱསྟྲམིཝ སྭཡམེཝ བྷཝནྟི།
15 since they show that what the Law requireth is written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness, and their thoughts in turn accusing or defending them; —
ཏེཥཱཾ མནསི སཱཀྵིསྭརཱུཔེ སཏི ཏེཥཱཾ ཝིཏརྐེཥུ ཙ ཀདཱ ཏཱན྄ དོཥིཎཿ ཀདཱ ཝཱ ནིརྡོཥཱན྄ ཀྲྀཏཝཏྶུ ཏེ སྭཱནྟརླིཁིཏསྱ ཝྱཝསྠཱཤཱསྟྲསྱ པྲམཱཎཾ སྭཡམེཝ དདཏི།
16 in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to the gospel which I have preached.
ཡསྨིན྄ དིནེ མཡཱ པྲཀཱཤིཏསྱ སུསཾཝཱདསྱཱནུསཱརཱད྄ ཨཱིཤྭརོ ཡཱིཤུཁྲཱིཥྚེན མཱནུཥཱཎཱམ྄ ཨནྟཿཀརཎཱནཱཾ གཱུཌྷཱབྷིཔྲཱཡཱན྄ དྷྲྀཏྭཱ ཝིཙཱརཡིཥྱཏི ཏསྨིན྄ ཝིཙཱརདིནེ ཏཏ྄ པྲཀཱཤིཥྱཏེ།
17 But if thou art called a Jew, and restest on the Law, and makest thy boast of God,
པཤྱ ཏྭཾ སྭཡཾ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཏི ཝིཁྱཱཏོ ཝྱཝསྠོཔརི ཝིཤྭཱསཾ ཀརོཥི,
18 and knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the Law;
ཨཱིཤྭརམུདྡིཤྱ སྭཾ ཤླཱགྷསེ, ཏཐཱ ཝྱཝསྠཡཱ ཤིཀྵིཏོ བྷཱུཏྭཱ ཏསྱཱབྷིམཏཾ ཛཱནཱསི, སཪྻྭཱསཱཾ ཀཐཱནཱཾ སཱརཾ ཝིཝིཾཀྵེ,
19 and art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,
ཨཔརཾ ཛྙཱནསྱ སཏྱཏཱཡཱཤྩཱཀརསྭརཱུཔཾ ཤཱསྟྲཾ མམ སམཱིཔེ ཝིདྱཏ ཨཏོ ྅ནྡྷལོཀཱནཱཾ མཱརྒདརྴཡིཏཱ
20 an instructor of those who lack wisdom, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and of the truth in the Law, —
ཏིམིརསྠིཏལོཀཱནཱཾ མདྷྱེ དཱིཔྟིསྭརཱུཔོ྅ཛྙཱནལོཀེབྷྱོ ཛྙཱནདཱཏཱ ཤིཤཱུནཱཾ ཤིཀྵཡིཏཱཧམེཝེཏི མནྱསེ།
21 dost thou then who teachest another, not teach thyself? Thou who proclaimest that others should not steal, dost thou steal?
པརཱན྄ ཤིཀྵཡན྄ སྭཡཾ སྭཾ ཀིཾ ན ཤིཀྵཡསི? ཝསྟུཏཤྩཽཪྻྱནིཥེདྷཝྱཝསྠཱཾ པྲཙཱརཡན྄ ཏྭཾ ཀིཾ སྭཡམེཝ ཙོརཡསི?
22 Dost thou who forbiddest to commit adultery, thyself commit adultery? Thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou rob temples?
ཏཐཱ པརདཱརགམནཾ པྲཏིཥེདྷན྄ སྭཡཾ ཀིཾ པརདཱརཱན྄ གཙྪསི? ཏཐཱ ཏྭཾ སྭཡཾ པྲཏིམཱདྭེཥཱི སན྄ ཀིཾ མནྡིརསྱ དྲཝྱཱཎི ཧརསི?
23 Dost thou who boastest of the Law, dishonor God by breaking the Law?
ཡསྟྭཾ ཝྱཝསྠཱཾ ཤླཱགྷསེ ས ཏྭཾ ཀིཾ ཝྱཝསྠཱམ྄ ཨཝམཏྱ ནེཤྭརཾ སམྨནྱསེ?
24 For, as it is written, “the name of God is on your account blasphemed among the gentiles.”
ཤཱསྟྲེ ཡཐཱ ལིཁཏི "བྷིནྣདེཤིནཱཾ སམཱིཔེ ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ དོཥཱད྄ ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ ནཱམྣོ ནིནྡཱ བྷཝཏི། "
25 For circumcision is indeed a benefit to thee, if thou keep the Law; but if thou art a breaker of the Law, thy circumcision hath become uncircumcision.
ཡདི ཝྱཝསྠཱཾ པཱལཡསི ཏརྷི ཏཝ ཏྭཀྪེདཀྲིཡཱ སཕལཱ བྷཝཏི; ཡཏི ཝྱཝསྠཱཾ ལངྒྷསེ ཏརྷི ཏཝ ཏྭཀྪེདོ྅ཏྭཀྪེདོ བྷཝིཥྱཏི།
26 If then he who is uncircumcised keep the precepts of the Law, shall not he though uncircumcised be regarded as circumcised?
ཡཏོ ཝྱཝསྠཱཤཱསྟྲཱདིཥྚདྷརྨྨཀརྨྨཱཙཱརཱི པུམཱན྄ ཨཏྭཀྪེདཱི སནྣཔི ཀིཾ ཏྭཀྪེདིནཱཾ མདྷྱེ ན གཎཡིཥྱཏེ?
27 Yea, those who are by nature uncircumcised, if they perform the law, will judge thee, who having a written Law and circumcision, art a breaker of the Law.
ཀིནྟུ ལབྡྷཤཱསྟྲཤྪིནྣཏྭཀ྄ ཙ ཏྭཾ ཡདི ཝྱཝསྠཱལངྒྷནཾ ཀརོཥི ཏརྷི ཝྱཝསྠཱཔཱལཀཱཿ སྭཱབྷཱཝིཀཱཙྪིནྣཏྭཙོ ལོཀཱསྟྭཱཾ ཀིཾ ན དཱུཥཡིཥྱནྟི?
28 For he is not a Jew, who is one outwardly, nor is that circumcision, which is outward, in the flesh;
ཏསྨཱད྄ ཡོ བཱཧྱེ ཡིཧཱུདཱི ས ཡིཧཱུདཱི ནཧི ཏཐཱངྒསྱ ཡསྟྭཀྪེདཿ ས ཏྭཀྪེདོ ནཧི;
29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is of the heart, spiritual, not literal, whose praise is not of men, but of God.
ཀིནྟུ ཡོ ཛན ཨཱནྟརིཀོ ཡིཧཱུདཱི ས ཨེཝ ཡིཧཱུདཱི ཨཔརཉྩ ཀེཝལལིཁིཏཡཱ ཝྱཝསྠཡཱ ན ཀིནྟུ མཱནསིཀོ ཡསྟྭཀྪེདོ ཡསྱ ཙ པྲཤཾསཱ མནུཥྱེབྷྱོ ན བྷཱུཏྭཱ ཨཱིཤྭརཱད྄ བྷཝཏི ས ཨེཝ ཏྭཀྪེདཿ།
