Romans 13
1 Let every one submit to the authorities that are over him; for there is no authority which is not from God: and the authorities which exist have been ordained by God.
ยุษฺมากมฺ เอไกกชน: ศาสนปทสฺย นิคฺโหฺน ภวตุ ยโต ยานิ ศาสนปทานิ สนฺติ ตานิ สรฺวฺวาณีศฺวเรณ สฺถาปิตานิ; อีศฺวรํ วินา ปทสฺถาปนํ น ภวติฯ
2 He therefore that setteth himself against the authority resisteth what God hath ordained; and they a who resist will bring upon themselves judgment.
อิติ เหโต: ศาสนปทสฺย ยตฺ ปฺราติกูลฺยํ ตทฺ อีศฺวรียนิรูปณสฺย ปฺราติกูลฺยเมว; อปรํ เย ปฺราติกูลฺยมฺ อาจรนฺติ เต เสฺวษำ สมุจิตํ ทณฺฑํ สฺวยเมว ฆฏยนฺเตฯ
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wouldst thou then not be afraid of the government? Do that which is good, and thou wilt have praise from it;
ศาสฺตา สทาจาริณำ ภยปฺรโท นหิ ทุราจาริณาเมว ภยปฺรโท ภวติ; ตฺวํ กึ ตสฺมานฺ นิรฺภโย ภวิตุมฺ อิจฺฉสิ? ตรฺหิ สตฺกรฺมฺมาจร, ตสฺมาทฺ ยโศ ลปฺสฺยเส,
4 for the ruler is God's servant to thee for good. But if thou doest evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain; for he is God's servant, an avenger to inflict wrath upon him that doeth evil.
ยตสฺตว สทาจรณาย ส อีศฺวรสฺย ภฺฤโตฺย'สฺติฯ กินฺตุ ยทิ กุกรฺมฺมาจรสิ ตรฺหิ ตฺวํ ศงฺกสฺว ยต: ส นิรรฺถกํ ขงฺคํ น ธารยติ; กุกรฺมฺมาจาริณํ สมุจิตํ ทณฺฑยิตุมฺ ส อีศฺวรสฺย ทณฺฑทภฺฤตฺย เอวฯ
5 It is necessary therefore to submit, not only because of the wrath, but also for your conscience' sake.
อเตอว เกวลทณฺฑภยานฺนหิ กินฺตุ สทสทฺโพธาทปิ ตสฺย วเศฺยน ภวิตวฺยํฯ
6 For the same reason pay tribute also; for they are ministers of God, attending continually to this very business.
เอตสฺมาทฺ ยุษฺมากํ ราชกรทานมปฺยุจิตํ ยสฺมาทฺ เย กรํ คฺฤหฺลนฺติ ต อีศฺวรสฺย กิงฺกรา ภูตฺวา สตตมฺ เอตสฺมินฺ กรฺมฺมณิ นิวิษฺฏาสฺติษฺฐนฺติฯ
7 Render to all what is due to them; tribute, to whom tribute is due; custom, to whom custom; fear, to whom fear; honor, to whom honor.
อสฺมาตฺ กรคฺราหิเณ กรํ ทตฺต, ตถา ศุลฺกคฺราหิเณ ศุลฺกํ ทตฺต, อปรํ ยสฺมาทฺ เภตวฺยํ ตสฺมาทฺ พิภีต, ยศฺจ สมาทรณียสฺตํ สมาทฺริยธฺวมฺ; อิตฺถํ ยสฺย ยตฺ ปฺราปฺยํ ตตฺ ตไสฺม ทตฺตฯ
8 Owe no one anything but brotherly love; for he that loveth others hath fulfilled the Law.
ยุษฺมากํ ปรสฺปรํ เปฺรม วินา 'นฺยตฺ กิมปิ เทยมฺ ฤณํ น ภวตุ, ยโต ย: ปรสฺมินฺ เปฺรม กโรติ เตน วฺยวสฺถา สิธฺยติฯ
9 For these, “Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not covet,” and every other commandment, are summed up in this precept, “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
วสฺตุต: ปรทารานฺ มา คจฺฉ, นรหตฺยำ มา การฺษี: , ไจรฺยฺยํ มา การฺษี: , มิถฺยาสากฺษฺยํ มา เทหิ, โลภํ มา การฺษี: , เอตา: สรฺวฺวา อาชฺญา เอตาโภฺย ภินฺนา ยา กาจิทฺ อาชฺญาสฺติ สาปิ สฺวสมีปวาสินิ สฺววตฺ เปฺรม กุรฺวฺวิตฺยเนน วจเนน เวทิตาฯ
10 Love worketh no ill to one's neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the Law.
ยต: เปฺรม สมีปวาสิโน'ศุภํ น ชนยติ ตสฺมาตฺ เปฺรมฺนา สรฺวฺวา วฺยวสฺถา ปาลฺยเตฯ
11 And this, since we know the time, that it is already high time for us to awake out of sleep; for now is our salvation nearer than when we became believers.
ปฺรตฺยยีภวนกาเล'สฺมากํ ปริตฺราณสฺย สามีปฺยาทฺ อิทานีํ ตสฺย สามีปฺยมฺ อวฺยวหิตํ; อต: สมยํ วิวิจฺยาสฺมาภิ: สามฺปฺรตมฺ อวศฺยเมว นิทฺราโต ชาครฺตฺตวฺยํฯ
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us then throw off the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light.
พหุตรา ยามินี คตา ปฺรภาตํ สนฺนิธึ ปฺราปฺตํ ตสฺมาตฺ ตามสียา: กฺริยา: ปริตฺยชฺยาสฺมาภิ รฺวาสรียา สชฺชา ปริธาตวฺยาฯ
13 Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in lewdness and wantonness, not in strife and envy;
อโต เหโต รฺวยํ ทิวา วิหิตํ สทาจรณมฺ อาจริษฺยาม: ฯ รงฺครโส มตฺตตฺวํ ลมฺปฏตฺวํ กามุกตฺวํ วิวาท อีรฺษฺยา ไจตานิ ปริตฺยกฺษฺยาม: ฯ
14 but clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and think not about satisfying the lusts of the flesh.
ยูยํ ปฺรภุยีศุขฺรีษฺฏรูปํ ปริจฺฉทํ ปริธทฺธฺวํ สุขาภิลาษปูรณาย ศารีริกาจรณํ มาจรตฯ
