< Romans 10 >

1 Brethren, the desire of my heart and my prayer to God for them is, that they may be saved.
Ụmụnna m, ihe na-agụ nnọọ obi m agụụ nke ukwu na ekpere m na-ekpe nye Chineke bụ ịhụ na a zọpụtara ha.
2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For being ignorant of the righteousness which is of God, and endeavoring to establish a righteousness of their own, they have not submitted themselves to the righteousness which is of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the Law, so that every one that believeth may obtain righteousness.
Kraịst bụ ọgwụgwụ iwu. Ya mere, ezi omume ga-adịrị onye ọbụla nke kwere.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the Law: “The man that hath done these things shall live by them.”
Mosis si otu a dee banyere ezi omume nke sitere nʼiwu, “Onye ọbụla na-eme ihe ndị a ga-adị ndụ site na ha.”
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh thus: Say not in thy heart, “Who shall ascend into heaven?” that is, to bring Christ down.
Ma ezi omume ahụ nke sitere nʼokwukwe na-asị, “Asịla nʼime obi gị, ‘onye ga-arịgo nʼime eluigwe?’” (nke bụ, ikudata Kraịst)
7 Or, “Who shall descend into the abyss?” that is, to bring up Christ from the dead. (Abyssos g12)
“maọbụ, ‘Onye ga-arịda nʼime ili?’” (nke a bụ, ịkpọlite Kraịst site na ndị nwụrụ anwụ). (Abyssos g12)
8 But what saith it? “The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart;” that is, the word concerning faith, which we preach;
Ma gịnị ka ọ na-ekwu? “Okwu ahụ nọ gị nso, ọ dị nʼọnụ gị dịrịkwa nʼobi gị,” ọ bụ ya, bụ okwu okwukwe ahụ anyị na-ekwusa.
9 for if thou shalt acknowledge with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Ma ọ bụrụ na ị ga-eji ọnụ gị kwupụta, na “Jisọs bụ Onyenwe anyị,” kwerekwa nʼime obi gị na Chineke kpọlitere ya site nʼọnwụ, a ga-azọpụta gị.
10 For with the heart man believeth so as to obtain righteousness, and with the mouth professeth so as to obtain salvation.
Nʼihi na ọ bụ obi gị ka ị ga-eji kwere; a gụọ gị nʼonye ezi omume, ọ bụkwa ọnụ gị ka ị ga-eji kwupụta, a zọpụta gị.
11 For the Scripture saith, “Whoever believeth in him shall not be put to shame.”
12 For there is no difference between Jew and Greek; for one and the same is Lord over all, rich to all that call upon him.
Nʼihi na o nweghị ihe dị iche nʼetiti onye Juu na onye mba ọzọ, otu Onyenwe anyị ahụ bụ Onye nwe mmadụ niile, ọ na-agọzibigakwa ndị na-akpọku ya oke.
13 For “every one who calleth upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Nʼihi na, “Onye ọbụla nke na-akpọku aha Onyenwe anyị, ka a ga-azọpụta.”
14 How then shall they call on him, in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him, of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 and how shall men preach, unless they are sent forth? as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”
16 But they did not all hearken to the glad tidings. For Isaiah saith, “Lord, who hath believed what he hath heard from us?”
Ma ọ bụghị mmadụ niile nabatara oziọma ahụ. Nʼihi na Aịzaya kwuru, “Onyenwe anyị, onye kweere ozi anyị?”
17 Faith then cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Ma ọ bụ ihe doro anya na ọ bụ site nʼige ntị nʼoziọma a ka mmadụ ji enweta okwukwe, oziọma ahụ a na-anụ bụ site nʼokwu Kraịst.
18 But I say, Did they not hear? Yes truly, “Their voice went forth into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.”
Ma ana m ajụ, Ọ ga-abụ na ha anụghị? Ha nụrụ ya nʼezie. “Nʼụwa niile ka olu ha pụrụ gazuo, okwu ọnụ ha niile erukwaala nʼebe ụwa sọtụrụ.”
19 But I say, Hath not Israel had knowledge? First, Moses saith, “I will move you to jealousy by that which is no nation, I will excite you to indignation by a foolish people.”
Ọzọkwa, ana m ajụ, ọ bụ na Izrel aghọtaghị? Na mbụ, Mosis sịrị, “Aga m esite na ndị na-abụghị mba kpalie mmụọ ekworo nʼime unu; aga m esitekwa nʼobodo na-enweghị nghọta kpasuo unu iwe.”
20 But Isaiah is very bold, and saith, “I was found by those who sought me not, I became known to those who inquired not for me.”
Ma Aịzaya jiri nkwuwa okwu sị, “Ndị chọtara m bụ ndị na-adịghị ajụ ase m, ekpugheere m onwe m nye ndị ahụ na-adịghị ajụ ase m.”
21 But concerning Israel he saith, “All the day long I have stretched out my hands to a disobedient and rebellious people.”
O kwuru banyere ndị Izrel, “Agbasara m aka m ogologo ụbọchị niile nye ndị nnupu isi na ndị na-ekwesị olu ike.”
