Revelation 21
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.
Então vi um novo céu e uma nova terra. O primeiro céu e a primeira terra tinham desaparecido, e o mar não existia mais.
2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Vi a cidade santa [de Deus], que é a nova [cidade de ]Jerusalém. Ela vinha descendo de Deus no céu. [A cidade ]foi preparada [e enfeitada ]{[Deus ]tinha preparado [e enfeitado a cidade]} como [SIM] uma noiva está enfeitada {se enfeita} [lindamente para se casar com ]seu noivo.
3 And I heard a loud voice out of the throne, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them, their God;
Ouvi uma voz forte que falava do trono [de Deus, ]dizendo: “Reparem! Deus morará com os seres humanos. Ele habitará [justamente no meio ]deles [DOU]. Eles serão o(s) povo/filhos dele. Deus mesmo habitará com eles e será o seu Deus.
4 and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall mourning, nor crying, nor pain he any more; for the former things are passed away.
[Consequentemente, ]Ele [fará com que não estejam mais tristes. Será como se Ele ][MTY] limpasse toda lágrima dos olhos deles. [Nenhum deles ]jamais morrerá, nem se lamentará [DOU], nem chorará, nem sentirá dor, pois terão desaparecido as coisas antigas [que nos entristecem].
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he saith, Write; for these words are faithful and true.
Então [Deus, ]sentado no trono, disse: “Reparem! [Agora ]faço tudo novo!” Ele [me ]disse: “Escreva estas coisas [que lhe disse, ]pois saiba que [com certeza as farei acontecer]”.
6 And he said to me, All things are accomplished. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To him that thirsteth I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Ele me disse: “Já completei [todas estas coisas. ]Sou eu que iniciei todas as coisas [MET] e sou eu que vou fazê-las acabar [MET]. A todos os que têm sede [espiritual ][MET], darei livremente da água da fonte [que faz as pessoas ]viverem [para sempre. ]
7 He that overcometh shall inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Darei essas coisas a todos os vencedores sobre [Satanás/os poderes malignos. ]Serei o Deus deles, e eles serão meus filhos.
8 But the cowardly, and unbelieving, and the polluted with abominations, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
Mas [os ]covardes, os que não creem [em mim], os [que praticam ]coisas detestáveis, os que matam [outras pessoas, ]os que pecam sexualmente, os que praticam feitiço, os que adoram os ídolos e os que dizem mentiras, [todos esses sofrerão ]no lago que arde com fogo e enxofre. [Qualquer um que sofre naquele lago ]morre pela segunda vez”. (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
9 And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven vials filled with the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither; I will show thee the bride, the wife of the Lamb.
Um dos sete anjos, que tinha um dos sete vasos cheios d[o líquido que provoca ][MTY] as sete pragas finais, veio ter comigo/veio até mim e me disse: “Venha [comigo], e eu lhe mostrarei [as pessoas unidas para sempre com Cristo, aquele que parece um ]cordeiro. Elas serão [como ][MET] a noiva [dele”.]
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
Então, enquanto o Espírito [de Deus me controlava ]de forma especial, o anjo me levou a uma imensa montanha muito alta. [Ali ]ele me mostrou a cidade santa [de Deus], Jerusalém, [que ]vinha descendo do céu, de Deus.
11 having the glory of God; her light was like to a most precious stone, as it were a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Ela brilhava com a glória/luz de Deus. A cidade brilhava como [brilha ]uma pedra de jaspe muito cara. Era transparente como cristal.
12 having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel;
[Ao redor da cidade ]havia uma muralha muito alta. [Essa muralha ]tinha doze portões. Em cada portão havia um anjo. Os nomes das doze tribos de Israel estavam escritos {[Deus ]tinha escrito os nomes das doze tribos de Israel} sobre os portões. [Cada portão continha o nome de uma das tribos. ]
13 on the east, three gates; and on the north, three gates; and on the south, three gates; and on the west, three gates.
Três portões ficavam do [lado ]leste, três portões do [lado ]norte, três portões do [lado ]sul e três portões do [lado ]oeste.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundation-stones, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
A muralha da cidade continha doze [pedras ]nos alicerces. Em cada [pedra ]do alicerce havia o nome de um dos doze apóstolos de [Jesus, aquele que é parecido com ]um cordeiro.
15 And he who talked with me had for a measure a golden reed, to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
O anjo que falava comigo levava na mão uma vara de medir feita de ouro, para medir a cidade, seus portões e sua muralha.
16 And the city lieth four-square, and its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
A cidade tinha [feição ]quadrada, sendo tão comprida quanto larga. Após medir a cidade com sua vara, o anjo [informou que ]ela tinha 2.400 quilômetros de comprimento, e que sua largura e altura eram iguais a[o comprimento].
17 And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty-four cubits, according to a man's measure, which is that of an angel.
Ele mediu a muralha [e informou que tinha 71 metros de grossura ](OU: [altura]). O anjo empregava unidades padrão [normativas.]
18 And the material of its wall was jasper; and the city was of pure gold, like to clear glass.
A muralha da [cidade ]era feita de [uma pedra verde e valiosa chamada ]jaspe. A cidade [mesma ]era [feita ]de ouro puro [que parecia ]vidro transparente.
19 The foundation-stones of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious stones: the first foundation-stone was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;
Os alicerces da muralha da cidade eram de grande beleza, constituídos de todo tipo de pedras preciosas. A primeira [pedra ]do alicerce [era uma pedra cristalina ]chamada jaspe; a segunda [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra azul chamada ]safira; a terceira [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra verde chamada ]calcedônia/ágata; a quarta [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra verde chamada ]esmeralda;
20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.
a quinta [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra com listras brancas e marrons, chamada ]sardônio; a sexta [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra vermelha chamada ]sárdio; a sétima [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra amarela chamada ]crisólito; a oitava [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra verde chamada ]berilo; a nona [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra amarela chamada ]topázio; a décima [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra verde chamada ]crisópraso; a décima primeira [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra azul chamada ]jacinto; a décima segunda [pedra do alicerce era uma pedra púrpura chamada ]ametista.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
Os doze portões [da cidade ]eram feitos de pérolas. Cada portão consistia em uma única pérola. A praça principal da cidade (OU: As ruas da cidade) era(m) de ouro puro [que parecia ]vidro transparente.
22 And I saw no temple therein; for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, and the Lamb.
Não havia na cidade um templo [em que as pessoas pudessem adorar a Deus, ]pois o Senhor Deus Todo-poderoso [mesmo], assim como [aquele que parece um ]cordeiro, mora [na cidade, e por isso não havia necessidade de ][MET] um templo.
23 And the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine upon it; for the glory of God lightened it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
A cidade não precisará do sol nem da lua para iluminação, pois a glória de Deus iluminará a cidade, e [Jesus, aquele que parece ]um cordeiro, será a luz dela.
24 And the nations will walk by the light of it; and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it;
As pessoas [MTY] das nações viverão sob a luz da cidade, [que brilha sobre elas. ]E os reis da terra trarão suas riquezas para a cidade [para honrarem a Deus e àquele que parece um cordeiro. ]
25 and the gates of it shall not be shut by day, for there will be no night there;
Os portões da cidade não serão fechados {Ninguém fechará os portões da cidade} [no fim do dia, como se faz normalmente, ]porque não haverá noite ali.
26 and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
Os [habitantes do ]mundo também trarão suas riquezas para a cidade para honrarem [a Deus e àquele que parece um cordeiro. ]
27 And there shall not enter into it anything unclean, or that worketh abomination and falsehood; but only they that are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Ninguém que seja moralmente impuro, ninguém que pratique coisas/atos [que Deus considera ]detestáveis e ninguém que minta, jamais entrará naquela cidade. Somente as pessoas cujos nomes foram inscritos por [aquele que parece um ]cordeiro no livro dele, [os nomes daqueles que ]viverão [para sempre, ]estarão ali.
