< Revelation 17 >

1 And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying, Come hither; I will show thee the judgment of the great harlot that sitteth upon the many waters;
Nomb’ amako mb’eo ty raik’ amy anjely fito amam-pinga fito rey nanao ty hoe: Mb’ etoañe, hitoroako ty zaka hifetsak’ amy tsimirirañe folo-ay mitobok’ amo rano marooy,
2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
i nanoa’ o mpanjaka’ ty tane toio hakarapiloañe naho nahamamo o mpimone’ ty tane toio amy divain-kakarapiloa’eiy.
3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet-colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Le nindese’ i anjeliy añ’ arofo mb’an-dratraratra añe iraho. Le nitreako ty rakemba niningitse ami’ty biby mena mañabasà, àtseke ty añaram-piterateràñe, aman-doha fito naho tsifa folo.
4 And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, full of abominations and the impurities of the fornication of the earth,
Nisaroñe lamba malò-mavo naho mena mañabarà i rakembay vaho nihamineñe volamena naho vatosoa naho hange, vaho an-taña’e ao ty fitovy volamena pea hativañe milaro ty haleoran-katsimirira’e.
5 and upon her forehead a name written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Nipatereñe am-pela-handri’e eo ty añarañe, toe tafatoño: Babolone Jabajaba, Renen-Tsimirirañe naho o raha tiva’ ty tane toio.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with great wonder.
Le naheoko i rakembay te jike ami’ty lio’ o noro’eo naho ami’ty lio’ o ninday ty taro’ Iesoào, aa ie nisambaeko, le niloho latsa.
7 And the angel said to me, Wherefore didst thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads, and the ten horns.
Le hoe i anjeliy tamako: Inoñ’ o ilatsà’oo? Hatoroko azo ty raha mietak’ amy rakembay naho ty amy biby aman-doha fito naho tsifa folo minday azey.
8 The beast which thou sawest, was, and is not, and is to come up out of the abyss, and goeth into perdition; and they that dwell on the earth, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder, when they see the beast, that he was, and is not, and yet will come. (Abyssos g12)
I biby nitrea’oy le teo, fa tsy eo, vaho fa hiakatse boak’ an-tsikeokeok’ ao mb’ am-pirotsaha’e mb’eo. Hahalatsa o mpimoneñe an-tane atoy tsy pinatetse amy boken-kaveloñe tam-pifotora’ ty voatse toio, t’ie hahaisake i biby teo naho tsy eo vaho mbe ho aviy. (Abyssos g12)
9 Here is the mind that hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
Inao ty itsakoreañe an-kihitse: I loha fito rey ro vohitse fito iambesara’ i rakembay,
10 And they are seven kings; five of them are fallen, one is; the other is not yet come, and when he hath come, he must remain a short time.
naho mpanjaka fito, fa nihotrake ty lime, eo ty raike, mbe tsy niavy ty raike; fa ie avy, le tsy mahay tsy ho eo betebeteke.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, he is an eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
I biby teo, fa tsy eoy; ie ty mpanjaka faha valo, mireketse amy fito rey, vaho mb’am-pirotsahañe ao.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, who have received no kingdom as yet, but receive authority as kings one hour with the beast.
I tsifa folo niisa’o rey, le mpanjaka folo mboe tsy nandrambe fifeheañe, f’ie mahazo lily ho mpanjaka mindre amy bibiy ora raike.
13 These have one mind, and give their power and authority to the beast.
Raike ty firefea’ iareo vaho hatolo’ iareo amy bibiy ty haozarañe naho ty lili’ iareo.
14 These will make war with the Lamb; and the Lamb will overcome them, because he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Hialy amy Vik’ añondriy iareo, fa ho rebahe’ i Vik’ añondriy, amy te Ie ro Talèn-drotompo naho Mpifehem-panjaka, le kinanjy naho jinoboñe vaho migahiñe o mpiama’eo.
15 And he saith to me, The waters which thou sawest, where the harlot sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Le hoe re tamako: O rano niisa’o itoboha’ i tsimirirañeio, le ondaty naho valobohòke naho fifeheañe vaho fameleke.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest, and the beast, these will hate the harlot, and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her up with fire.
Le i tsifa folo niisa’o amy bibiy rey ro halaiñe i tsimirirañey, hampidoñ’ aze ho vahiny naho miboridañe; habotse’ iereo ty nofo’e vaho hamorototo aze añ’afo.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to do his will, and to form one purpose, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
Fa nentoen’ Añahare añ’ arofo’ iareo ty hañeneke i satri’ey, naho hitrao-drehake vaho hanolotse ty fifehea’ iareo amy bibiy ampara’ te heneke o saontsin’ Añahareo.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is the great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
I rakemba niisa’oy, le i rova jabajaba mifehe o mpanjaka’ ty tane toio.
