< Psalms 93 >
1 Jehovah reigneth; he is clothed with majesty; Jehovah is clothed with majesty, and girded with strength; Therefore the earth standeth firm, and cannot be moved.
For the day before the Sabbath, when the land was [first] inhabited, the praise of a Song by David. The Lord reigns; he has clothed himself with honor: the Lord has clothed and girded himself with strength; for he has established the world, which shall not be moved.
2 Thy throne was established of old; Thou art from everlasting!
Your throne is prepared of old: you are from everlasting.
3 The floods, O LORD! lift up, The floods lift up their voice; The floods lift up their roaring!
The rivers have lifted up, O Lord, the rivers have lifted up their voices,
4 Mightier than the voice of many waters, Yea, than the mighty waves of the sea, Is the LORD in his lofty habitation.
at the voices of many waters: the billows of the sea are wonderful: the Lord is wonderful in high places.
5 Thy promises are most sure; Holiness becometh thy house, O LORD! for ever!
Your testimonies are made very sure: holiness becomes your house, O Lord, for ever.
