Psalms 77
1 “For the leader of the music of the Jeduthunites. A psalm of Asaph.” I call upon God; I cry aloud for help; I call upon God, that he would hear me!
१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये: यदूतून की राग पर, आसाप का भजन मैं परमेश्वर की दुहाई चिल्ला चिल्लाकर दूँगा, मैं परमेश्वर की दुहाई दूँगा, और वह मेरी ओर कान लगाएगा।
2 In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; In the night is my hand stretched forth continually; My soul refuseth to be comforted.
२संकट के दिन मैं प्रभु की खोज में लगा रहा; रात को मेरा हाथ फैला रहा, और ढीला न हुआ, मुझ में शान्ति आई ही नहीं।
3 I remember God, and am disquieted; I think of him, and my spirit is overwhelmed.
३मैं परमेश्वर का स्मरण कर करके कराहता हूँ; मैं चिन्ता करते-करते मूर्छित हो चला हूँ। (सेला)
4 Thou keepest mine eyelids from closing; I am distressed, so that I cannot speak!
४तू मुझे झपकी लगने नहीं देता; मैं ऐसा घबराया हूँ कि मेरे मुँह से बात नहीं निकलती।
5 I think of the days of old, —The years of ancient times.
५मैंने प्राचीनकाल के दिनों को, और युग-युग के वर्षों को सोचा है।
6 I call to remembrance my songs in the night; I meditate in my heart, And my spirit inquireth:
६मैं रात के समय अपने गीत को स्मरण करता; और मन में ध्यान करता हूँ, और मन में भली भाँति विचार करता हूँ:
7 Will the Lord be angry for ever? Will he be favorable no more?
७“क्या प्रभु युग-युग के लिये मुझे छोड़ देगा; और फिर कभी प्रसन्न न होगा?
8 Is his mercy utterly withdrawn for ever? Doth his promise fail from generation to generation?
८क्या उसकी करुणा सदा के लिये जाती रही? क्या उसका वचन पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी के लिये निष्फल हो गया है?
9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath he in anger shut up his compassion?
९क्या परमेश्वर अनुग्रह करना भूल गया? क्या उसने क्रोध करके अपनी सब दया को रोक रखा है?” (सेला)
10 Then I say, “This is mine affliction, A change in the right hand of the Most High.”
१०मैंने कहा, “यह तो मेरा दुःख है, कि परमप्रधान का दाहिना हाथ बदल गया है।”
11 I remember the deeds of Jehovah; I think of thy wonders of old.
११मैं यहोवा के बड़े कामों की चर्चा करूँगा; निश्चय मैं तेरे प्राचीनकालवाले अद्भुत कामों को स्मरण करूँगा।
12 I meditate on all thy works, And talk of thy doings.
१२मैं तेरे सब कामों पर ध्यान करूँगा, और तेरे बड़े कामों को सोचूँगा।
13 Thy ways, O God! are holy! Who so great a god as our God?
१३हे परमेश्वर तेरी गति पवित्रता की है। कौन सा देवता परमेश्वर के तुल्य बड़ा है?
14 Thou art a God who doest wonders; Thou hast manifested thy power among the nations.
१४अद्भुत काम करनेवाला परमेश्वर तू ही है, तूने देश-देश के लोगों पर अपनी शक्ति प्रगट की है।
15 With thy strong arm thou didst redeem thy people, —The sons of Jacob and Joseph.
१५तूने अपने भुजबल से अपनी प्रजा, याकूब और यूसुफ के वंश को छुड़ा लिया है। (सेला)
16 The waters saw thee, O God! The waters saw thee, and feared, And the deep trembled.
१६हे परमेश्वर, समुद्र ने तुझे देखा, समुद्र तुझे देखकर डर गया, गहरा सागर भी काँप उठा।
17 The clouds poured out water, The skies sent forth thunder, And thine arrows flew.
१७मेघों से बड़ी वर्षा हुई; आकाश से शब्द हुआ; फिर तेरे तीर इधर-उधर चले।
18 Thy thunder roared in the whirlwind; Thy lightning illumined the world; The earth trembled and shook.
१८बवंडर में तेरे गरजने का शब्द सुन पड़ा था; जगत बिजली से प्रकाशित हुआ; पृथ्वी काँपी और हिल गई।
19 Thy way was through the sea, And thy path through great waters; And thy footsteps could not be found.
१९तेरा मार्ग समुद्र में है, और तेरा रास्ता गहरे जल में हुआ; और तेरे पाँवों के चिन्ह मालूम नहीं होते।
20 Thou didst lead thy people like a flock, By the hands of Moses and Aaron.
२०तूने मूसा और हारून के द्वारा, अपनी प्रजा की अगुआई भेड़ों की सी की।
