Psalms 76
1 “For the leader of the music. Upon stringed instruments. A Psalm of Asaph.” In Judah is God known; Great is his name in Israel.
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ: ਤਾਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ, ਗੀਤ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ।
2 In Jerusalem is his tabernacle, And in Zion his dwelling-place.
੨ਸ਼ਾਲੇਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਮੰਡਪ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਭਵਨ।
3 There brake he the lightning of the bow, The shield, the sword, and all the weapons of battle.
੩ਉੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਧਣੁੱਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਨਾਲੇ ਢਾਲ਼, ਤਲਵਾਰ ਤੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਸੰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ। ਸਲਹ।
4 More glorious and excellent art thou Than those mountains of robbers!
੪ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ, ਤੇਜਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਮ ਹੈਂ।
5 Spoiled are the stout-hearted; They sank into their sleep; The hands of the mighty were powerless.
੫ਤਗੜੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੁੱਟੇ ਗਏ, ਓਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਬੀਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਨਾ ਚੱਲਿਆ।
6 Before thy rebuke, O God of Jacob! Fell chariot and horseman into a deep sleep!
੬ਹੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੇਰੇ ਦਬਕੇ ਨਾਲ, ਕੀ ਰਥ ਕੀ ਘੋੜਾ, ਸੱਭੇ ਘੂਕ ਨੀਂਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਗਏ ਹਨ!
7 Thou, thou, O God! art terrible! Who can stand before thee in thine anger?
੭ਤੈਥੋਂ, ਹਾਂ, ਤੈਥੋਂ ਡਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕੌਣ ਖਲੋ ਸਕੇ?
8 Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; The earth trembled and was still,
੮ਸਵਰਗੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਸੁਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਧਰਤੀ ਡਰ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਠਰ ਗਈ,
9 When God arose to judgment, To save all the oppressed of the earth!
੯ਜਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਉੱਠਿਆ, ਕਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਸਕੀਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇ। ਸਲਹ।
10 The wrath of man shall praise thee, When thou girdest on the whole of thy wrath!
੧੦ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਲਾਹਤ ਕਰਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਬਕੀਏ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਕਮਰ ਕੱਸੇਂਗਾ।
11 Make and perform vows to Jehovah, your God! Let all that dwell around him bring gifts to the terrible One,
੧੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੁੱਖਣਾ ਸੁੱਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਕਰੋ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਸੱਭੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਲਿਆਉਣ।
12 Who casteth down the pride of princes, Who is terrible to the kings of the earth!
੧੨ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਿਲੇਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੈ।
