Psalms 69
1 “For the leader of the music. Upon the Shoshannim. A psalm of David.” Save me, O God! For the waters press in to my very life!
Ein Psalm Davids von den Rosen, vorzusingen. Gott, hilf mir; denn das Wasser gehet mir bis an die Seele.
2 I sink in deep mire, where is no standing; I have come into deep waters, and the waves flow over me.
Ich versinke in tiefem Schlamm, da kein Grund ist; ich bin im tiefen Wasser, und die Flut will mich ersäufen.
3 I am weary with crying; my throat is parched; Mine eyes are wasted, while I wait for my God.
Ich habe mich müde geschrieen, mein Hals ist heisch; das Gesicht vergehet mir, daß ich so lange muß harren auf meinen Gott.
4 More numerous than the hairs of my head are they who hate me without reason; Mighty are they who seek to destroy me, being my enemies without cause: I must restore what I took not away.
Die mich ohne Ursache hassen, der ist mehr, denn ich Haare auf dem Haupt habe. Die mir unbillig feind sind und mich verderben, sind mächtig. Ich muß bezahlen, das ich nicht geraubt habe.
5 O God! thou knowest my offences, And my sins are not hidden from thee!
Gott, du weißest meine Torheit, und meine Schulden sind dir nicht verborgen.
6 Let not them that trust in thee through me be put to shame, O Lord Jehovah, God of hosts! Let not them that seek thee through me be confounded, O God of Israel!
Laß nicht zuschanden werden an mir, die dein harren, HERR, HERR Zebaoth! Laß nicht schamrot werden an mir, die dich suchen, Gott Israels!
7 For on account of thee do I suffer reproach, And shame covereth my face!
Denn um deinetwillen trage ich Schmach, mein Angesicht ist voller Schande.
8 I am become a stranger to my brothers; Yea, an alien to my mother's sons.
Ich bin fremd worden meinen Brüdern und unbekannt meiner Mutter Kindern.
9 For zeal for thy house consumeth me, And the reproaches of them that reproach thee fall upon me.
Denn ich eifere mich schier zu Tod um dein Haus; und die Schmach derer, die dich schmähen, fallen auf mich.
10 When I weep and fast, That is made my reproach;
Und ich weine und faste bitterlich; und man spottet mein dazu.
11 When I clothe myself in sackcloth, Then I become their by-word.
Ich hab einen Sack angezogen; aber sie treiben das Gespött draus.
12 They who sit in the gate speak against me, And I am become the song of drunkards.
Die im Tor sitzen, waschen von mir, und in den Zechen singet man von mir.
13 Yet will I address my prayer to thee, O LORD! May it be in an acceptable time according to thy great goodness! Hear, O God! and afford me thy sure help!
Ich aber bete, HERR, zu dir zur angenehmen Zeit. Gott, durch deine große Güte, erhöre mich mit deiner treuen Hilfe!
14 Save me from the mire, and let me not sink; May I be delivered from my enemies, —from the deep waters!
Errette mich aus dem Kot, daß ich nicht versinke, daß ich errettet werde von meinen Hassern und aus dem tiefen Wasser,
15 Let not the water-flood overflow me; Let not the deep swallow me up, And let not the pit close her mouth upon me!
daß mich die Wasserflut nicht ersäufe und die Tiefe nicht verschlinge und das Loch der Grube nicht über mir zusammengehe.
16 Hear me, O LORD! since great is thy loving-kindness; According to the abundance of thy tender mercies look upon me!
Erhöre mich, HERR, denn deine Güte ist tröstlich; wende dich zu mir nach deiner großen Barmherzigkeit
17 Hide not thy face from thy servant; I am greatly distressed, O make haste to mine aid!
und verbirg dein Angesicht nicht vor deinem Knechte; denn mir ist angst; erhöre mich eilend!
18 Draw near to me, and redeem my life; Deliver me because of my enemies!
Mache dich zu meiner Seele und erlöse sie; erlöse mich um meiner Feinde willen!
19 Thou knowest my reproach, and dishonor, and shame; All my adversaries are in thy view!
Du weißest meine Schmach, Schande und Scham; meine Widersacher sind alle vor dir.
20 Reproach hath broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness; I look for pity, but there is none; For comforters, but find none.
Die Schmach bricht mir mein Herz und kränket mich. Ich warte, ob es jemand jammerte, aber da ist niemand; und auf Tröster, aber ich finde keine.
21 For my food they give me gall, And in my thirst they give me vinegar to drink.
Und sie geben mir Galle zu essen und Essig zu trinken in meinem großen Durst.
22 May their table be to them a snare; May it be a trap to them, while they are at ease!
Ihr Tisch müsse vor ihnen zum Strick werden, zur Vergeltung und zu einer Falle!
23 May their eyes be darkened, that they may not see; And cause their loins continually to shake!
Ihre Augen müssen finster werden, daß sie nicht sehen; und ihre Lenden laß immer wanken!
24 Pour out upon them thine indignation, And may the heat of thine anger overtake them!
Geuß deine Ungnade auf sie, und dein grimmiger Zorn ergreife sie!
25 Let their habitation be desolate, And let none dwell in their tents!
Ihre Wohnung müsse wüste werden, und sei niemand, der in ihren Hütten wohne!
26 For they persecute those whom thou hast smitten, And talk of the pain of those whom thou hast wounded.
Denn sie verfolgen, den du geschlagen hast, und rühmen, daß du die Deinen übel schlagest.
27 Add iniquity to their iniquity, And let them never come into thy favor!
Laß sie in eine Sünde über die andere fallen, daß sie nicht kommen zu deiner Gerechtigkeit.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; Let not their names be written with the righteous!
Tilge sie aus dem Buch der Lebendigen, daß sie mit den Gerechten nicht angeschrieben werden.
29 But I am poor, and sorrowful: May thine aid, O God! set me on high!
Ich aber bin elend, und mir ist wehe. Gott, deine Hilfe schütze mich!
30 Then I will praise the name of God in a song; I will give glory to him with thanksgiving.
Ich will den Namen Gottes loben mit einem Liede und will ihn hoch ehren mit Dank.
31 More pleasing shall this be to the LORD Than a full-horned and full-hoofed bullock.
Das wird dem HERRN baß gefallen denn ein Farr, der Hörner und Klauen hat.
32 The afflicted shall see, and rejoice; The hearts of them that fear God shall be revived.
Die Elenden sehen und freuen sich; und die Gott suchen, denen wird das Herz leben.
33 For the LORD heareth the poor, And despiseth not his people in their bonds.
Denn der HERR höret die Armen und verachtet seine Gefangenen nicht.
34 Let the heaven and the earth praise him; The sea, and all that move therein!
Es lobe ihn Himmel, Erde und Meer und alles, was sich drinnen reget.
35 For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah, That they may dwell therein, and possess it.
Denn Gott wird Zion helfen und die Städte Judas bauen, daß man daselbst wohne und sie besitze.
36 Yea, the posterity of his servants shall possess it, And they that love him shall dwell therein.
