Psalms 62
1 “For the leader of the music of the Jeduthunites, A psalm of David.” Truly my soul resteth on God alone; From him cometh my deliverance!

2 He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my safeguard, I shall not wholly fall!
Ja, Elohims harrt still meine Seele, / Von ihm kommt mein Heil.
3 How long will ye continue to assault a single man? How long will ye all seek to destroy me, Like a bending wall, or a tottering fence?
Ja, er ist mein Fels und mein Heil, / Meine Burg — ich werde nicht wanken!
4 They study how to cast me down from my eminence; They delight in falsehood; They bless with their mouths, but in their hearts they curse.
Wie lange stürmt ihr noch ein auf einen einzelnen Mann, / Sucht alle ihn niederzuwerfen? Aber ihr seid / Wie eine sinkende Wand, eine stürzende Mauer!
5 My soul, rest thou on God alone, For from him cometh my hope!
Ja, von seiner Höhe beschließen sie ihn zu stürzen. / Drum haben sie Lust an der Lüge. / Sie segnen mit ihrem Munde, / Aber im Herzen fluchen sie. (Sela)
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my safeguard, —I shall not fall.
Ja, Elohims harr ich still, meine Seele, / Denn meine Hoffnung kommt von ihm.
7 From God cometh my help and my glory: My strong rock, my refuge, is God.
Ja, er ist mein Fels und mein Heil, / Meine Burg — ich werde nicht wanken!
8 Trust in him at all times, ye people! Pour out your hearts before him! God is our refuge!
Auf Elohim ruhn meine Hilfe und Ehre; / Mein starker Fels, meine Zuflucht ist in Elohim.
9 Truly men of low degree are vanity, And men of high degree are a lie; Placed in the balance, They are all lighter than vanity.
Traut ihm, ihr Leute, zu aller Zeit! / Schüttet vor ihm eure Herzen aus! / Elohim ist unsre Zuflucht. (Sela)
10 Trust not in extortion; Place no vain hopes in rapine! If riches increase, set not your heart upon them!
Nur ein Hauch sind Leutesöhne. / Lüge sind Herrensöhne; / Auf der Waage schnellten sie sicher empor. / Allzumal sind sie ein Hauch.
11 Once hath God promised, twice have I heard it, That power belongeth unto God.
Vertraut nicht auf erpreßtes Gut, / Laßt euch nicht blenden durch Raub! / Wächst das Vermögen, so achtet nicht drauf!
12 To thee also, O Lord! belongeth mercy; For thou dost render to every man according to his work!
Einmal, zweimal hat Elohim geredet, was ich gehört: / Elohims ist die Macht. "Aber bei dir, Adonái, ist auch die Gnade." / Denn du vergiltst einem jeden nach seinem Tun.
