< Psalms 55 >

1 “For the leader of the music. To be sung on stringed instruments. A psalm of David.” Give ear to my prayer, O God! Hide not thyself from my supplication!
Ipangagmo ti kararagko, O Dios, ken saanmo kadi nga ilemmengan ti ararawko.
2 Attend unto me, and hear me! I wander about mourning and wailing,
Ipangagnak ket sungbatannak; awan ti inanak kadagiti pakariribukak
3 On account of the clamors of the enemy, On account of the violence of the wicked. For they bring evil upon me, And in wrath set themselves against me.
gapu kadagiti timek dagiti kabusorko, gapu iti panangparigat dagiti nadangkes; ta riribuk ti iyegda kaniak ket kapungtotdak.
4 My heart trembleth in my bosom, And the terrors of death have fallen upon me.
Nasaktan unay ti pusok, ken nagtupak kaniak ti alliaw ni patay.
5 Fear and trembling have seized me, And horror hath overwhelmed me.
Panagbuteng ken panagpigerger ti immay kaniak, ket linapunosnak ti buteng.
6 Then I say, O that I had wings like a dove! For then would I fly away, and be at rest.
Kinunak, “O, no addaanak koma kadagiti payak a kasla iti kalapati! Ket makatayabak koma nga umadayo ken makainana.
7 Behold, I would wander far away, And take up my abode in a wilderness. (Pause)
Kitaem, ket innak iti adayo a disso; agtalinaedak idiay let-ang. (Selah)
8 I would hasten away to a shelter From the rushing wind and tempest.
Agdardarasak a mapan iti panglinongan manipud iti napigsa nga angin ken bagio.”
9 Confound, O Lord! divide their counsels! For I behold violence and strife in the city.
Dadaelem ida, O Apo, ket dimo pagkikinnaawaten ida, ta makitak ti kinaranggas ken riribuk iti siudad.
10 Day and night do these go about its walls; In the midst of it are iniquity and mischief.
Aldaw ken rabii, lawlawlawenda dagiti paderna; kinadakes ken riribuk ti adda iti tengngana.
11 Wickedness is in the midst of it; Oppression and fraud depart not from its streets.
Adda ti kinadangkes iti tengngana; saan a pumanaw kadagiti kalsadana dagiti panangidadanes ken panangallilaw.
12 It was not an enemy that reviled me, Then I could have borne it; Nor one that hated me, who rose up against me; From him I could have hid myself.
No koma kabusor ti manglalais kaniak, maibturak; uray isuna a gimmura kaniak a nagpannakkel kaniak, mailemmengak.
13 But it was thou, a man my equal, My friend, and my acquaintance.
Ngem sika, ti tao a kapadpadak, ti kaduak ken nasinged a gayyemko.
14 We held sweet converse together, And walked to the house of God in company.
Naaddaanta ti nasam-it a panaglinlinnangen; nagnata iti balay ti Dios agraman ti adu a tattao.
15 May sudden death seize upon them! May they go down to the underworld alive! For wickedness is in their dwellings, in the midst of them. (Sheol h7585)
Kellaat koma nga umay ni patay kadakuada; maipababada koma a sibibiag iti sheol, ta kinadangkes ti pagnanaedanda, iti mismo nga ayanda. (Sheol h7585)
16 As for me, I will call upon God, And Jehovah will save me.
No maipapan kaniak, umawagakto iti Dios, ket isalakannakto ni Yahweh.
17 At evening, at morn, and at noon I mourn and sigh, And he will hear my voice.
Agdayengdeng ken umasugak iti rabii, bigat ken agmatuon; ipangagna ti timekko.
18 He will deliver me in peace from my conflict; For many have risen up against me.
Sitatalged nga ispalenna ti biagko manipud iti gubat a maibusor kaniak, ta adu dagiti bimmusor kaniak. (Selah)
19 God will hear me, and bring them down, —He that hath been judge of old. (Pause) Because they have no changes, Therefore they fear not God.
O Dios, a nagturay manipud iti un-unana, denggennakto ken parmekennanto ida. Saan nga agbalbaliw dagidiay a lallaki; saanda nga agbuteng iti Dios.
20 They lift up their hands against their friend, And break their covenant with him.
Inlayat ti gayyemko dagiti imana kadagiti nakikapia kenkuana; saanna a rinaem ti katulaganda.
21 Their speech was softer than butter, But war was in their heart; Their words were smoother than oil, Yet were they drawn swords.
Nalammuyot ti ngiwatna a kas iti mantikilia ngem adda gura ti pusona; naluklukneng ngem iti lana dagiti balikasna, ngem kinapudnona, immasutda kadagiti kampilan.
22 “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he will sustain thee; He will never suffer the righteous to fall!”
Ikamangyo dagiti dadagsenyo kenni Yahweh, ket saranayenakayonto; saanna pulos nga ipalubos a magaraw ti nalinteg a tao.
23 Yea, thou, O God! wilt bring them down into the lowest pit! Bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days. But I will trust in thee!
Ngem sika, O Dios, ipisokmonto dagiti nadangkes iti abut ti pannakadadael; dagiti mawaw iti dara ken manangallilaw a lallaki ket saanto nga agbiag iti uray kaguddua iti kaatiddog ti panagbiag dagiti dadduma, ngem no siak, agtalekak kenka.
