Psalms 47

1 “For the leader of the music. A psalm of the sons of Korah.” O clap your hands, all ye nations! Shout unto God with the voice of triumph!

੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੋਰਹ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਕੋ, ਤਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਓ, ਜੈ-ਜੈਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਲਲਕਾਰੋ,

2 For terrible is Jehovah, the Most High, The great king over all the earth.

੨ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ!

3 He hath subdued nations under us, And kingdoms under our feet;

੩ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਦਬਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉੱਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

4 He hath chosen for us an inheritance, The glory of Jacob, whom he loved. (Pause)

੪ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਉੱਤਮਤਾਈ ਨੂੰ। ਸਲਹ।

5 God goeth up with a shout; Jehovah with the sound of the trumpet.

੫ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਲਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਰਸਿੰਗੇ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ।

6 Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our king, sing praises!

੬ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਓ, ਅਰਾਧਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਸਾਡੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਓ, ਗੁਣ ਗਾਓ!

7 For God is king of all the earth; Sing to him hymns of praise!

੭ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਜੋ ਹੈ, ਸੁਰ ਤਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਅਰਾਧਨਾ ਕਰੋ!

8 God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon his holy throne.

੮ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪਰਾਈਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ।

9 The princes of the nations gather themselves together To the people of the God of Abraham; For the mighty of the earth belong to God; He is supremely exalted.

੯ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਤਵੰਤ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਹੋਣ। ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਢਾਲਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ!
