Psalms 43

1 Judge me, O God! and defend my cause against a merciless nation! Deliver me from unjust and deceitful men!

Ee Mungu unihukumu, nitetee dhidi ya taifa lisilomcha Mungu, niokoe na watu wadanganyifu na waovu.

2 Thou art the God of my refuge: why dost thou cast me off? Why go I mourning on account of the oppression of the enemy?

Wewe ni Mungu ngome yangu. Kwa nini umenikataa? Kwa nini niendelee kuomboleza, nikiwa nimeonewa na adui?

3 O send forth thy light and thy truth; let them guide me; Let them lead me to thy holy mountain, and to thy dwelling-place!

Tuma hima nuru yako na kweli yako na viniongoze; vinilete mpaka mlima wako mtakatifu, mpaka mahali unapoishi.

4 Then will I go to the altar of God, To the God of my joy and exultation; Yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God!

Ndipo nitakwenda madhabahuni pa Mungu, kwa Mungu, furaha yangu na shangwe yangu. Nitakusifu kwa kinubi, Ee Mungu, Mungu wangu.

5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, Him, my deliverer and my God!

Ee nafsi yangu, kwa nini unasononeka? Kwa nini unafadhaika hivyo ndani yangu? Weka tumaini lako kwa Mungu, kwa sababu bado nitamsifu Mwokozi wangu na Mungu wangu.
