Psalms 43

1 Judge me, O God! and defend my cause against a merciless nation! Deliver me from unjust and deceitful men!

Júzgame, oh ʼElohim, y defiende mi causa. Líbrame de gente impía, del hombre engañador y perverso.

2 Thou art the God of my refuge: why dost thou cast me off? Why go I mourning on account of the oppression of the enemy?

Porque Tú eres el ʼElohim de mi fortaleza. ¿Por qué me desechaste? ¿Por qué ando enlutado a causa de la opresión del enemigo?

3 O send forth thy light and thy truth; let them guide me; Let them lead me to thy holy mountain, and to thy dwelling-place!

Envía tu luz y tu verdad. Éstas me guiarán. Ellas me conducirán a tu Montaña Santa y a tus moradas.

4 Then will I go to the altar of God, To the God of my joy and exultation; Yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God!

Entonces iré al altar de ʼElohim, Al ʼEL de mi alegría y regocijo, Y te alabaré con el arpa, oh ʼElohim, mi ʼElohim.

5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, Him, my deliverer and my God!

¿Por qué te abates, oh alma mía, Y por qué te turbas dentro de mí? Espera a ʼElohim, porque aún lo alabaré. ¡El Ayudador de mi presencia y mi ʼElohim!
