Psalms 43

1 Judge me, O God! and defend my cause against a merciless nation! Deliver me from unjust and deceitful men!

Суди меня, Боже, и вступись в тяжбу мою с народом недобрым. От человека лукавого и несправедливого избавь меня,

2 Thou art the God of my refuge: why dost thou cast me off? Why go I mourning on account of the oppression of the enemy?

ибо Ты Бог крепости моей. Для чего Ты отринул меня? для чего я сетуя хожу от оскорблений врага?

3 O send forth thy light and thy truth; let them guide me; Let them lead me to thy holy mountain, and to thy dwelling-place!

Пошли свет Твой и истину Твою; да ведут они меня и приведут на святую гору Твою и в обители Твои.

4 Then will I go to the altar of God, To the God of my joy and exultation; Yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God!

И подойду я к жертвеннику Божию, к Богу радости и веселия моего, и на гуслях буду славить Тебя, Боже, Боже мой!

5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, Him, my deliverer and my God!

Что унываешь ты, душа моя, и что смущаешься? Уповай на Бога; ибо я буду еще славить Его, Спасителя моего и Бога моего.
