Psalms 36
1 “For the leader of the music. A psalm of David, the servant of the Lord.” To speak of the ungodliness of the wicked is in my heart. He hath no fear of God before his eyes.
Bezakoniku je bezbožna rijeè u srcu; nema straha Božijega pred oèima njegovijem.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, Till his iniquity is found out and hated.
Ali laže sebi u oèi, mjesto da prizna svoje bezakonje i omrzne na nj.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit; He neglecteth to be wise and to do good.
Rijeèi su usta njegovijeh nepravda i lukavstvo, neæe da se opameti da tvori dobro.
4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; He persevereth in an evil way; He abhorreth not sin.
Bezakonje smišlja na postelji svojoj, stoji na putu rðavom, zlo mu nije mrsko.
5 Thy goodness, O LORD! reacheth to the heavens, And thy faithfulness to the clouds;
Gospode! do neba je milost tvoja, i istina tvoja do oblaka.
6 Thy righteousness is like the high mountains; Thy judgments are a great deep; Thou, O LORD! preservest man and beast!
Pravda je tvoja kao gore Božije, sudovi tvoji bezdana velika; ljude i stoku ti èuvaš, Gospode!
7 How precious is thy loving-kindness, O God! Yea, the sons of men seek refuge under the shadow of thy wings.
Kako je dragocjena milost tvoja, Bože! sinovi ljudski u sjenu krila tvojih ne boje se.
8 They are satisfied with the abundance of thy house, And thou causest them to drink of the full stream of thy pleasures.
Hrane se od izobila doma tvojega, i iz potoka sladosti svojih ti ih napajaš.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life; Through thy light we see light.
Jer je u tebe izvor životu, tvojom svjetlošæu vidimo svjetlost.
10 O continue thy loving-kindness to them that know thee, And thy favor to the upright in heart!
Raširi milost svoju na one koji te znadu, i pravdu svoju na dobra srca.
11 Let not the foot of the proud come upon me, Nor the hand of the wicked remove me!
Ne daj da stane na mene noga ohola, i ruka bezbožnièka da me zaljulja.
12 Lo! already are the workers of iniquity fallen; They are cast down; they are unable to rise!
Onamo neka padnu koji èine bezakonje, neka se stropoštaju i ne mogu ustati.
