Psalms 36
1 “For the leader of the music. A psalm of David, the servant of the Lord.” To speak of the ungodliness of the wicked is in my heart. He hath no fear of God before his eyes.
Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi pieśń Dawida, sługi Pańskiego. Przewrotność niepobożnego świadczy w sercu mojem: Niemasz bojaźni Bożej przed oczyma jego.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, Till his iniquity is found out and hated.
Bo sobie pobłaża w oczach swoich, aby wykonał nieprawość swoję aż do obmierzenia.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit; He neglecteth to be wise and to do good.
Słowa ust jego są nieprawość i zdrada; nie chciał rozumieć, aby dobrze czynił.
4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; He persevereth in an evil way; He abhorreth not sin.
Nieprawość rozmyśla na łożu swojem, stoi na drodze nie dobrej, a złego się nie waruje.
5 Thy goodness, O LORD! reacheth to the heavens, And thy faithfulness to the clouds;
Panie! miłosierdzie twoje niebios sięga, prawda twoja aż pod obłoki,
6 Thy righteousness is like the high mountains; Thy judgments are a great deep; Thou, O LORD! preservest man and beast!
Sprawiedliwość twoja, jako góry najwyższe; sądy twoje, jako przepaść wielka; ludzie i zwierzęta zachowuje, Panie!
7 How precious is thy loving-kindness, O God! Yea, the sons of men seek refuge under the shadow of thy wings.
Jakoż drogie jest miłosierdzie twoje, Boże! przetoż synowie ludzcy w cieniu skrzydeł twoich ufają.
8 They are satisfied with the abundance of thy house, And thou causest them to drink of the full stream of thy pleasures.
Będą upojeni hojnością domu twego, a strumieniem rozkoszy twoich napoisz ich.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life; Through thy light we see light.
Albowiem u ciebie jest źródło żywota, a w światłości twojej oglądamy światłość.
10 O continue thy loving-kindness to them that know thee, And thy favor to the upright in heart!
Rozciągnij miłosierdzie twoje nad tymi, którzy cię znają, a sprawiedliwość twoję nad uprzejmymi sercem.
11 Let not the foot of the proud come upon me, Nor the hand of the wicked remove me!
Niech nie następuje na mię noga pysznych, a ręka niepobożnych niech mię nie uwodzi.
12 Lo! already are the workers of iniquity fallen; They are cast down; they are unable to rise!
Tam, gdzie upadli, którzy czynili nieprawość, porażeni są, i nie mogli powstać.
