Psalms 24

1 “A psalm of David.” The earth is the LORD'S, and all that is therein; The world, and they who inhabit it.

۱ مزمور داود زمین و پری آن از آن خداوند است. ربع مسکون و ساکنان آن.

2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the floods.

۲ زیرا که اواساس آن را بر دریاها نهاد. و آن را بر نهرها ثابت گردانید.

3 Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place?

۳ کیست که به کوه خداوند برآید؟ وکیست که به مکان قدس او ساکن شود؟

4 He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; Who hath not inclined his soul to falsehood, Nor sworn deceitfully.

۴ او که پاک دست و صاف دل باشد، که جان خود را به بطالت ندهد و قسم دروغ نخورد.

5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, And favor from the God of his salvation.

۵ او برکت را ازخداوند خواهد یافت. و عدالت را از خدای نجات خود.

6 This is the race of them that seek him; They that seek thy face are Jacob. (Pause)

۶ این است طبقه طالبان او. طالبان روی تو‌ای (خدای ) یعقوب. سلاه.

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates! Lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, That the king of glory may come in!

۷ ‌ای دروازه‌ها سرهای خود را برافرازید! ای درهای ابدی برافراشته شوید تا پادشاه جلال داخل شود!

8 “Who is this king of glory?” Jehovah, strong and mighty; Jehovah, mighty in battle.

۸ این پادشاه جلال کیست؟ خداوندقدیر و جبار؟ خداوند که در جنگ جبار است.

9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates! Lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, That the king of glory may enter in!

۹ ‌ای دروازه‌ها، سرهای خود را برافرازید! ای درهای ابدی برافرازید تا پادشاه جلال داخل شود!

10 “Who is this king of glory?” Jehovah, God of hosts, he is the king of glory. (Pause)

۱۰ این پادشاه جلال کیست؟ یهوه صبایوت پادشاه جلال اوست. سلاه.
