Psalms 23

1 “A psalm of David.” The LORD is my shepherd: I shall not want.

ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଗୀତ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ପ୍ରତିପାଳକ; ମୋହର ଅଭାବ ହେବ ନାହିଁ।

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.

ସେ କୋମଳ ତୃଣମୟ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ମୋତେ ଶୟନ କରାନ୍ତି; ସେ ସ୍ଥିର ଜଳ ପାଖେ ପାଖେ ମୋତେ କଢ଼ାଇ ନିଅନ୍ତି।

3 He reviveth my soul; He leadeth me in paths of safety, For his name's sake.

ସେ ମୋʼ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ଆପଣା ନାମ ସକାଶୁ ଧର୍ମ ପଥରେ ମୋତେ କଢ଼ାଇ ନିଅନ୍ତି।

4 When I walk through a valley of deathlike shade, I fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy crook and thy staff, they comfort me.

ଏଣୁ ମୁଁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁଚ୍ଛାୟାରୂପ ଉପତ୍ୟକା ଦେଇ ଗମନ କଲେ ହେଁ କୌଣସି ଆପଦକୁ ଭୟ କରିବି ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ସହବର୍ତ୍ତୀ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାଞ୍ଚଣ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାଡ଼ି ମୋତେ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା ଦିଅନ୍ତି।

5 Thou preparest a table before me In the presence of mine enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋʼ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ମୋʼ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ମେଜ ସଜାଉଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୈଳରେ ମୋʼ ମସ୍ତକ ସିକ୍ତ କରିଅଛ; ମୋʼ ପାନପାତ୍ର ଉଚ୍ଛୁଳି ପଡ଼ୁଅଛି।

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଓ ଦୟା ମୋହର ଜୀବନଯାଏ ମୋହର ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍‍ଗାମୀ ହେବ; ପୁଣି, ମୁଁ ସର୍ବଦା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ବାସ କରିବି।
