Psalms 23

1 “A psalm of David.” The LORD is my shepherd: I shall not want.

१दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. परमेश्वर माझा मेंढपाळ आहे, मला कशाचीही उणीव भासणार नाही.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.

२तो मला हिरव्या कुरणात बसवतो, तो मला संथ पाण्याजवळ नेतो.

3 He reviveth my soul; He leadeth me in paths of safety, For his name's sake.

३तो माझा जीव ताजा-तवाना करतो, तो आपल्या नावाकरिता मला योग्य मार्गात चालवतो.

4 When I walk through a valley of deathlike shade, I fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy crook and thy staff, they comfort me.

४मी जरी अंधकाराने भरलेल्या दरीत चालत असलो तरी, मला कसल्याही संकटाचे भय वाटणार नाही, कारण तू माझ्याबरोबर आहेस, तुझी आकडी आणि काठी माझे सांत्वन करतात.

5 Thou preparest a table before me In the presence of mine enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.

५तू माझ्या शत्रूंच्या समक्षतेत मज पुढे मेज तयार करतोस, तू माझ्या डोक्याला तेलाने अभिषिक्त केले आहे. माझा प्याला भरुन वाहत आहे.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

६खचित माझ्या आयुष्याचे सर्व दिवस हित आणि प्रेमदया माझ्या मागे चालतील, आणि परमेश्वराच्या घरात मी अनंतकाळ राहीन.
