Psalms 20

1 “For the leader of the music. A psalm of David.” May Jehovah hear thee in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend thee!

१मुख्य गायकासाठी, दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. परमेश्वर तुला संकटात साहाय्य करो, याकोबाच्या देवाचे नाव तुझे संरक्षण करो.

2 May he send thee help from his sanctuary, And strengthen thee out of Zion!

२देव त्याच्या पवित्र स्थानातून तुम्हास मदत पाठवो. तो तुम्हास सियोनातून साहाय्य करो.

3 May he have regard to all thine offerings, And accept thy burnt sacrifice! (Pause)

३तो तुझ्या सर्व अर्पणांची आठवण ठेवो, आणि तुझे होमार्पण यज्ञ मान्य करो.

4 May he grant thee thy heart's desire, And fulfill all thy purposes!

४तो तुझ्या हृदयाच्या इच्छा मान्य करो, आणि तुझ्या सर्व योजना पूर्ण करो.

5 We will rejoice in thy protection, And in the name of our God will we set up our banners, When Jehovah hath fulfilled all thy petitions.

५तेव्हा आम्ही तुझ्या तारणात हर्ष करू. आणि आमच्या देवाच्या नावात झेंडे उभारू. परमेश्वर तुझ्या सर्व विनंत्या पूर्ण करो.

6 Now I know that Jehovah helpeth his anointed; That he heareth him from his holy heaven, And aideth him with the saving strength of his right hand.

६परमेश्वर आपल्या अभिषिक्ताला तारतो, हे मी जाणले आहे. त्याच्या तारण करणाऱ्या उजव्या हाताच्या सामर्थ्याने, तो त्याच्या पवित्र स्वर्गातून त्यास उत्तर देईल.

7 Some glory in chariots, and some in horses, But we in the name of Jehovah our God.

७काही त्यांच्या रथांवर भरंवसा ठेवतात, तर काही घोड्यांवर, परंतु आम्ही आमच्या परमेश्वर देवाला हाक मारू.

8 They stumble and fall, But we stand and are erect.

८ते खाली आणले गेले आणि पडले, परंतु आम्ही उठू आणि ताठ उभे राहू!

9 The LORD save the king! May he hear us when we call!

९हे परमेश्वरा तारण कर, आम्ही आरोळी करू त्या दिवशी राजा आम्हांला उत्तर देवो.
