Psalms 16
1 “A psalm off David.” Preserve me, O God! for to thee do I look for help.
၁အကျွန်ုပ် ကို စောင့် မတော်မူပါဘုရား။ ကိုယ်တော် ကို အကျွန်ုပ်ခိုလှုံ ပါ၏။
2 I have said to Jehovah, Thou art my Lord; I have no happiness beyond thee!
၂ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင် ဖြစ်တော်မူသည် ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား ကို အကျွန်ုပ်လျှောက်ဆို ပါပြီ။ ကျေးဇူး တော်မှတပါး အခြား သောမင်္ဂလာသည်အကျွန်ုပ် ၌ မ ရှိပါ။
3 The holy that are in the land, and the excellent, —in them is all my delight.
၃ပြည် တော်၌ နေသောသန့်ရှင်း သူနှင့် ထူးဆန်း သောသူတို့ကိုသာ နှစ်သက် ပါ၏။
4 They who hasten after other gods shall have multiplied sorrows; Their drink-offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor will I take their names upon my lips.
၄အခြား သောလမ်းသို့ လိုက်ပြေးသောသူ တို့ သည် များစွာ သော ဆင်းရဲ ဒုက္ခကို ခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည် သူ တို့သွန်းလောင်း ရာ ပူဇော် သက္ကာအသွေး ကို မလှူ မ ဆက်လို။ သူ တို့ဘုရား၏နာမ ကို မ မြွက် လို။
5 Jehovah is my portion and my cup; Thou wilt maintain my lot!
၅ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ အမွေ ခံရာအဘို့ ၊ ငါ စားသောက် ရာအဘို့ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ် အမွေ အနှစ်ကို စောင့်ရှောက် တော်မူ၏။
6 My portion hath fallen to me in pleasant places; Yea, I have a goodly inheritance.
၆ငါ ပိုင်ထိုက်သောနယ် နိမိတ်သည် သာယာ သော အရပ်တွင် ကျ ၍ ၊ ကောင်းမွန် သော အမွေ ကို ငါ ခံရပြီ။
7 I will bless the LORD, who careth for me; Yea, in the night my heart admonisheth me.
၇ငါ့ ကို ပြုစုတော်မူသောထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကောင်းကြီး ပေးမည်။ ညဉ့် အချိန်၌ပင် ငါ့ နှလုံး သည် ငါ့ ကို နှိုးဆော် တတ်၏။
8 I set the LORD before me at all times; Since he is at my right hand, I shall not fall.
၈ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို အစဉ် မပြတ်မျက်မှောက် ပြု ၏။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ငါ လက်ျာ ဘက်၌ တည်ရှိတော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါသည်လှုပ်ရှား ခြင်း မ ရှိရ။ ထိုကြောင့်ငါ့ စိတ် နှလုံးသည် သာယာ ခြင်း၊
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my spirit rejoiceth; Yea, my flesh dwelleth in security.
၉ငါ့ဝိညာဉ်သည်လည်း ရွှင်လန်း ခြင်းရှိ၏။ ထို မှတပါး၊ ငါ့ အသား သည် မြော်လင့် လျက် ကျိန်းဝပ် လိမ့်မည်။
10 For thou wilt not give me up to the underworld; Nor wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see the pit. (Sheol h7585)
၁၀အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ ဝိညာဉ် ကို မရဏာ နိုင်ငံ၌ ပစ် ထားတော်မ မူ။ ကိုယ်တော် ၏ သန့်ရှင်း သောသူအား လည်း ပုပ်စပ် ခြင်းကို ရှိ စေတော်မ မူဘဲလျက်၊ (Sheol h7585)
11 Thou wilt show me the path of life; In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.
၁၁အသက် ရှင်ခြင်း လမ်း ကို ပြ ညွှန်တော်မူလိမ့် မည်။ အထံ တော်၌ စုံလင် သော ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းအခွင့် နှင့် လက်ျာ တော်နား မှာ အစဉ် အမြဲပျော်မွေ့ ခြင်းအခွင့် ရှိပါ၏။
