Psalms 15

1 “A psalm of David.” LORD, who shall abide at thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell upon thy holy hill?

१दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या पवित्र तंबूत कोण राहू शकेल? तुझ्या पवित्र डोंगरावर कोण राहील?

2 He that walketh uprightly, and doeth righteousness, And speaketh the truth from his heart;

२जो निर्दोषपणे चालतो आणि जे चांगले ते करतो, आणि आपल्या हृदयात सत्य बोलतो तो.

3 He that slandereth not with his tongue, That doeth no injury to his neighbor, And uttereth no reproach against his neighbor;

३जो आपल्या जीभेने चुगली करत नाही, किंवा दुसऱ्यांची हानी करत नाही, किंवा आपल्या शेजाऱ्याचा अपमान करत नाही.

4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; But who honoreth them that fear the LORD; Who sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;

४अधमाचा तिरस्कार करतो, परंतु जे परमेश्वराचे भय धरतात त्यांचा सन्मान करतो, जो वचन देऊन आपले अहीत झाले तरी मागे हटत नाही,

5 He that lendeth not his money for interest, And taketh not a bribe against the innocent: He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

५जेव्हा तो पैसे उधार देतो तेव्हा व्याज घेत नाही, जो निर्दोष लोकांविरूद्ध साक्ष देण्यासाठी लाच घेत नाही. तो, जो या गोष्टी करतो तो कधीही ढळणार नाही.
