Psalms 148
1 Praise ye the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens! Praise him in the heights!
Alléluia.
2 Praise him, all ye his angels! Praise him, all ye his hosts!
Louez-le, vous tous, ses anges; louez-le, vous toutes, ses puissances.
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon! Praise him, all ye stars of light!
Louez-le, soleil et lune; louez-le, vous toutes, étoiles de la nuit, et lumière du jour.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens! Ye waters, that are above the heavens!
Louez-le, cieux des cieux, et que toutes les eaux qui sont au-dessus des cieux
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD; For he commanded, and they were created.
Louent le nom du Seigneur. Car lui-même a dit, et les choses ont été faites: lui-même a commandé, et elles ont été créées.
6 He hath also established them for ever; He hath given them a law, and they transgress it not.
Il les a établies à jamais, et pour les siècles des siècles: il leur a donné une loi, et elle ne sera pas détruite.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth, Ye sea-monsters, and all deeps!
Louez le Seigneur, habitants de la terre; vous, dragons, et vous tous, abîmes.
8 Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Thou tempest, that fulfillest his word!
Feu, grêle, neige, glace, vents de tempêtes, qui accomplissez sa parole:
9 Ye mountains, and all hills! Fruit-trees, and all cedars!
Montagnes et vous toutes, collines, arbres fruitiers, et vous tous, cèdres;
10 Ye wild beasts, and all cattle! Ye creeping things, and winged birds!
Bêtes sauvages, et vous tous, troupeaux; serpents, oiseaux du ciel;
11 Ye kings, and all peoples, Princes, and all judges of the earth!
Rois de la terre, et vous tous, peuples; princes, et vous tous, juges de la terre.
12 Young men and maidens, Old men and children!
Que les jeunes hommes et les vierges, les vieillards et ceux qui sont plus jeunes, louent le nom du Seigneur,
13 Let them praise the name of the LORD! For his name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens.
Parce qu’il est le seul dont le nom a été exalté.
14 He exalteth the horn of his people, The glory of all his godly ones, Of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise ye the LORD!
Sa louange est au-dessus du ciel et de la terre, et il a exalté la corne de son peuple.
