Psalms 148

1 Praise ye the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens! Praise him in the heights!

亞肋路亞！請您們在天上讚美上主，請您們在高處讚美上主！

2 Praise him, all ye his angels! Praise him, all ye his hosts!

上主的眾天使，請讚美上主；上主的一切聖者，請讚美上主！

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon! Praise him, all ye stars of light!

太陽和月亮，請讚美上主；燦爛的諸星，請讚美上主！

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens! Ye waters, that are above the heavens!

天上的諸天，請讚美上主；天上的雨水，請讚美上主！

5 Let them praise the name of the LORD; For he commanded, and they were created.

願它們齊來讚美上主的名號！因為上主一命令，它們立刻受造。

6 He hath also established them for ever; He hath given them a law, and they transgress it not.

他確定的位置，留至永恒，他頒部的規律，永不變更。

7 Praise the LORD from the earth, Ye sea-monsters, and all deeps!

請您們在地上讚美上主：海怪和海深處的眾水族，

8 Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Thou tempest, that fulfillest his word!

還有電火與冰雹，白雪和雲霧，以及遵行他命令的狂風暴雨。

9 Ye mountains, and all hills! Fruit-trees, and all cedars!

山岳和一切丘陵，果樹與各種柏松，

10 Ye wild beasts, and all cattle! Ye creeping things, and winged birds!

野獸和一切畜牲，各種爬蟲和鳥類，

11 Ye kings, and all peoples, Princes, and all judges of the earth!

世上的列王和萬民，地上的元首與公卿，

12 Young men and maidens, Old men and children!

少年人和童貞女，老年人與兒童侶，

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD! For his name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

請您們讚美上主的名字，因為只有他的名字高貴，他的尊嚴遠遠超越天地，

14 He exalteth the horn of his people, The glory of all his godly ones, Of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise ye the LORD!

上主使自己百姓的頭角高聳，他是他自己一切聖徒的讚頌，即接近他的以色列民的光榮。
