Psalms 147
1 Praise ye the LORD! For it is good to sing praise to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is becoming.
Rumbidzai Jehovha. Zvakanaka sei kuimbira Mwari wedu nziyo dzokurumbidza, zvinofadza uye zvakafanira sei kumurumbidza!
2 The LORD buildeth up Jerusalem; He gathereth together the dispersed of Israel.
Jehovha anovaka Jerusarema; anounganidza vakadzingwa vaIsraeri.
3 He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds.
Anoporesa vane mwoyo yakaputsika, uye anosunga maronda avo.
4 He counteth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names.

5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.
Ishe wedu mukuru uye ane simba guru; kunzwisisa kwake hakuperi.
6 The LORD lifteth up the lowly; He casteth the wicked down to the ground.
Jehovha anotsigira vanozvininipisa, asi anowisira pasi vakaipa.
7 Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; Sing praises upon the harp to our God!
Imbirai Jehovha nokuvonga; muimbire Mwari wedu nziyo dzokurumbidza nembira.
8 Who covereth the heavens with clouds, Who prepareth rain for the earth, Who causeth grass to grow upon the mountains.

9 He giveth to the cattle their food. And to the young ravens, when they cry.

10 He delighteth not in the strength of the horse, He taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

11 The LORD taketh pleasure in those who fear him, In those who trust in his mercy.
Jehovha anofadzwa naavo vanomutya, vanoisa tariro yavo parudo rwake rusingaperi.
12 Praise the LORD. O Jerusalem! Praise thy God, O Zion!
Kudza Jehovha, iwe Jerusarema; rumbidza Mwari wako, iwe Zioni,
13 For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; He hath blessed thy children within thee.

14 He maketh peace in thy borders, And satisfieth thee with the finest of the wheat.

15 He sendeth forth his command to the earth; His word runneth very swiftly.

16 He giveth snow like wool, And scattereth the hoar-frost like ashes.
Anowarira chando samakushe amakwai, uye anoparadzira chando samadota.
17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels; Who can stand before his cold?
Anokanda chimvuramabwe pasi sezvimedu. Ndianiko angamira kana chando chake charova?
18 He sendeth forth his word, and melteth them; He causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
Anotuma shoko rake rigozvinyungudisa; anomutsa mhepo yake, mvura zhinji igoerera.
19 He publisheth his word to Jacob, His statutes and laws to Israel.
Akazarurira Jakobho shoko rake, mirayiro yake nezvirevo zvake kuna Israeri.
20 He hath dealt in this manner with no other nation; And, as for his ordinances, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD!
Haana kumboita izvi kuno rumwe rudzi; havazivi mirayiro yake. Rumbidzai Jehovha.
