Psalms 141
1 “For the leader of the music. A psalm of David.” I cry to thee, O LORD! make haste unto me! Give ear to my voice, when I cry unto thee!
Zsoltár Dávidtól. Örökkévaló, hívtalak, siess felém; figyelj szavamra, mikor hívlak téged!
2 Let my prayer come before thee as incense, And the lifting-up of my hands, as the evening sacrifice!
Álljon meg előtted imádságom füstölő szer gyanánt, kezeim fölemelése esti áldozat gyanánt!
3 Set a watch, O LORD! before my mouth; Guard the door of my lips!
Tégy, Örökkévaló, őrizetet szájamnak, vigyázz ajkaim ajtajára.
4 Let not my heart incline to any evil thing; Let me not practise wickedness with the doers of iniquity, And let me not eat of their delicacies!
Ne hajlítsd szívemet rossz dologra, hogy gazság tetteire vetemedjem jogtalanságot cselekvö férfiakkal, és ne étkezzem csemegéikből.
5 Let the righteous smite me, —it shall be a kindness; Let him reprove me, and it shall be oil for my head; Let him do it again, and my head shall not refuse it; But now I pray against their wickedness!
Üt engem az igaz – szeretet az fedd engem – fejre való olaj az; ne szabadkozzék fejem, mert egyre van imádságom rosszaságaik ellen
6 When their judges are hurled over the side of the rock, They shall hear how pleasant are my words.
Szikla oldalára zuhantak bíráik és hallgatták szavaimat, hogy kedvesek.
7 So are our bones scattered at the mouth of the underworld, As when one furroweth and ploweth up the land. (Sheol h7585)
Mint mikor fölszaggatják és hasogatják a földet, szétszórattak csontjaink az alvilág szájához. (Sheol h7585)
8 But to thee do my eyes look, O Lord Jehovah! In thee is my trust; Let not my life be poured out!
Mert hozzád, Örökkévaló, én Uram, fordulnak szemeim, benned kerestem menedéket, ne öntsd ki lelkemet!
9 Preserve me from the snares which they have laid for me, And from the nets of evil-doers!
Őrizz meg a tőrtől, melyet nekem vetettek, és a jogtalanság cselekvőinek csapdáitól;
10 Let the wicked fall together into their own traps, Whilst I make my escape!
essenek kiki a hálójába a gonoszok egyaránt, mig én elhaladok!
