Psalms 136
1 O give thanks to the LORD! for he is kind; For his goodness endureth for ever!
請眾感謝上主，因他寬仁，因為他的仁慈永遠常存。
2 O give thanks to the God of gods; For his goodness endureth for ever!
請眾感謝眾神中的真神，因為他的仁慈永遠常存。
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords; For his goodness endureth for ever!
請眾感謝萬君中的大君，因為他的仁慈永遠常存。
4 To him that alone doeth great wonders; For his goodness endureth for ever!
惟獨他行了偉大的奇能，因為他的仁慈永遠常存。
5 To him that made the heavens with wisdom; For his goodness endureth for ever!
他以他的智慧創造天穹，因為他的仁慈永遠常存。
6 To him that spread out the earth upon the waters; For his goodness endureth for ever!
他在諸水上將大地鋪陳，因為他的仁慈永遠常存。
7 To him that made the great lights; For his goodness endureth for ever!
他創造了極巨大的光明，因為他的仁慈永遠常存。
8 The sun to rule the day; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂造了太陽在白晝照臨，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
9 The moon and stars to rule the night; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂造了月與星光照黑夜，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
10 To him that smote in Egypt their first-born; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂擊殺了埃及國的首生，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
11 And brought Israel from the midst of them; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂領以色列走出埃及境，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
12 With a strong hand and an outstretched arm; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂伸出手臂施展了大能，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
13 To him who divided the Red sea into parts; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂把紅海的水從中分開，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂領以色列人海中步行，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
15 And overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂淹沒法郎軍隊於海心，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
16 To him who led his people through the wilderness; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂率領百姓在曠野繞行，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
17 To him who smote great kings; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂嚴懲了最強悍的國君，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
18 And slew mighty kings; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂擊殺了極強盛的國王，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
19 Sihon, the king of the Amorites; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂殺死了阿摩黎王息紅，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
20 And Og, the king of Bashan; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂殺死敖格，巴商之君，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
21 And gave their land for an inheritance; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂將異民地使選民佔領，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
22 For an inheritance to Israel his servant; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂使己僕以色列人繼承，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
23 Who remembered us in our low estate; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂懷念了我們遭難的人，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
24 And redeemed us from our enemies; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂救拔我們脫離了仇人，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
25 Who giveth food unto all; For his goodness endureth for ever!
祂給一切生靈提供食品，因為祂的仁慈永遠常存。
26 O give thanks to the God of heaven; For his goodness endureth for ever!
請眾感謝天主上居天庭，因為他的仁慈永遠常存。
