Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the LORD! Praise ye the name of the LORD! Praise him, O ye servants of the LORD!
Alaben el Nombre de Yavé. Alábenlo, esclavos de Yavé,
2 Ye who stand in the house of the LORD, In the courts of the house of our God!
Ustedes quienes están en la Casa de Yavé, En los patios de la Casa de nuestro ʼElohim.
3 Praise ye the LORD, for the LORD is good; Praise his name, for he is kind!
¡Aleluya, porque Yavé es bueno! Canten salmos a su Nombre, Porque [eso] es agradable.
4 For the LORD chose Jacob for himself, And Israel for his own possession.
Porque YA escogió a Jacob para Él, A Israel como su posesión.
5 I know that the LORD is great; That our Lord is above all gods.
Porque yo sé que Yavé es grande, Y que nuestro ʼAdonay está por encima de todos los ʼelohim.
6 All that the LORD pleaseth, that he doeth, In heaven and upon earth, In the sea, and in all deeps.
Yavé hace todo lo que quiere, Tanto en el cielo como en la tierra, En los mares y en todos los abismos.
7 He causeth the clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth; He maketh lightnings for the rain; He bringeth the wind from his store-houses.
Él impulsa Para que las nieblas suban desde los confines de la tierra. Produce relámpagos para la lluvia, Saca de sus tesoros el viento.
8 He smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast.
Él fue el que mató a los primogénitos de Egipto, Tanto del hombre como del animal.
9 He sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt! Against Pharaoh and all his servants!
En medio de Ti, oh Egipto, envió señales y prodigios, Contra Faraón y todos sus esclavos.
10 He smote many nations, And slew mighty kings;
Destruyó a muchas naciones, Y mató a reyes poderosos:
11 Sihon, the king of the Amorites, And Og, the king of Bashan, And all the kings of Canaan;
A Sehón rey de los amorreos, A Og rey de Basán, Y a todos los reyes de Canaán.
12 And gave their land for an inheritance, For an inheritance to Israel, his people.
Dio la tierra de ellos Como heredad a su pueblo Israel.
13 Thy name, O LORD! endureth for ever; Thy memorial, O LORD! to all generations!
Oh Yavé, eterno es tu Nombre. Tu memoria, oh Yavé, por todas las generaciones.
14 For the LORD judgeth his people, And hath compassion on his servants.
Porque Yavé juzgará a su pueblo Y tendrá compasión de sus esclavos.
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.
Los ídolos de las naciones son [de] plata y oro, Obra de manos de hombre.
16 They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not.
Tienen bocas, pero no hablan. Tienen ojos, pero no ven.
17 They have ears, but they hear not; And there is no breath in their mouths.
Tienen orejas, pero no oyen, Tampoco hay aliento en sus bocas.
18 They that make them are like them; So is every one that trusteth in them.
Los que las hacen son semejantes a ellos, Y todo el que confía en ellos.
19 Praise the LORD, O house of Israel! Praise the LORD, O house of Aaron!
¡Oh casa de Israel, bendiga a Yavé! ¡Oh casa de Aarón, bendiga a Yavé!
20 Praise the LORD, O house of Levi! Ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD!
¡Oh casa de Leví, bendiga a Yavé! ¡Los que temen a Yavé, bendigan a Yavé!
21 Praised be the LORD out of Zion, He that dwelleth in Jerusalem! Praise ye the LORD!
¡Desde Sion, bendito sea Yavé, Quien mora en Jerusalén! ¡Aleluya!
