Psalms 132
1 “A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” O LORD! remember David, And all his affliction!
上主，求您以慈愛懷念達味，和他所有的一切焦思勞瘁：
2 How he sware to Jehovah, And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
因為他曾向上主立過了誓言，向雅各伯的全能者許過願：
3 “I will not go into my house, Nor lie down on my bed,
我決不進入我住家中的帳幔，也決不登上我躺臥的床沿，
4 I will not give sleep to my eyes, Nor slumber to my eyelids,
不容許我的眼睛睡眠，也不讓我的眼臉安閑，
5 Until I find a place for Jehovah, A habitation for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
直到我給上主尋找到一個處所，給雅各伯的全能者將居地覓妥。
6 Behold, we heard of it at Ephratah; We found it in the fields of the forest.
看，我們聽說約櫃在厄弗辣大，我們在雅阿爾的平原找到了它。
7 Let us go into his habitation; Let us worship at his footstool!
大家一同進祂的居所，並在祂的腳凳下崇拜說：
8 Arise, O LORD! into thy rest, Thou, and the ark of thy strength!
上主，請您和您威嚴的約櫃，起來駕臨到您安息的住宅，
9 Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness, And thy holy ones shout for joy!
願您的司祭身披正義，願您的信徒踴躍歡喜。
10 For the sake of thy servant David, Reject not the prayer of thine anointed!
為了您僕人達味的情面，不要將您的受傅者輕看！
11 Jehovah hath sworn in truth unto David, And he will not depart from it: “Of the fruit of thy body will I place upon the throne for thee.
上主既然向達味起了誓，真理的約言決不再收回：我要使您的親生兒子，榮登上您自己的王位；
12 If thy children keep my covenant, And my statutes, which I teach them, Their children also throughout all ages Shall sit upon thy throne.”
若您的子孫遵守我的誓言，也遵守我教訓他們的法典，連他們的子孫代代世世，也必定要坐上您的王位。
13 For Jehovah hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it as his dwelling-place.
的確上主特別揀選了熙雍，希望熙雍作為自己的王宮：
14 “This is my resting-place for ever; Here will I dwell, for I have chosen it.
就是我的永遠安息之處，我希望的是常在這裏居住。
15 I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread.
我要祝福這裏的食糧充裕，窮人都無憂並且吃得飽飫，
16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation, And her holy ones shall shout aloud for joy.
使這裏的司祭得蒙救助，使這裏的信徒踴躍歡愉。
17 There will I cause to spring forth a horn for David; I have prepared a light for mine anointed.
在這裏我要使達味的頭角高聳，我要給我的受傅者備妥明燈，
18 His enemies will I clothe with shame, And the crown shall glitter upon his head.”
我要使他的敵人個個恥辱備嘗，我要使他的王冠在頭上發光。
