Psalms 128

1 “A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” Happy is he who feareth the LORD, Who walketh in his ways!

Bem-aventurado aquele que teme ao Senhor e anda nos seus caminhos.

2 Thou shalt eat the labor of thy hands; Happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee!

Pois comerás do trabalho das tuas mãos: feliz serás, e te irá bem

3 Thy wife shall be like a fruitful vine within thy house; Thy children like olive-branches round about thy table.

A tua mulher será como a videira frutífera aos lados da tua casa, os teus filhos como plantas de oliveira à roda da tua mesa.

4 Behold! thus happy is the man who feareth the LORD!

Eis que assim será abençoado o homem que teme ao Senhor.

5 Jehovah shall bless thee out of Zion, And thou shalt see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of thy life;

O Senhor te abençoará desde Sião, e tu verás os bens de Jerusalém em todos os dias da tua vida.

6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children. Peace be to Israel!

E verás os filhos de teus filhos, e a paz sobre Israel.
