< Psalms 118 >

1 O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; For his kindness endureth for ever!
Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Olúwa, nítorí tí ó dára; àánú rẹ̀ dúró láéláé.
2 Let Israel now say, His kindness endureth for ever!
Jẹ́ kí Israẹli wí pé: “Àánú rẹ̀ dúró láéláé”.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, His goodness endureth for ever!
Jẹ́ kí ilé Aaroni wí pé: “Àánú rẹ̀ dúró láéláé”.
4 Let all who fear the LORD say, His kindness endureth for ever!
Jẹ́ kí àwọn tí ó bẹ̀rù Olúwa wí pé: “Àánú rẹ̀ dúró láéláé.”
5 I called upon the LORD in distress; He heard, and set me in a wide place.
Nínú ìrora mi, mo sọkún sí Olúwa, ó sì dá mi lóhùn nípa pé ó tú mi sílẹ̀.
6 The LORD is on my side, I will not fear: What can man do to me?
Olúwa ń bẹ fún èmi; èmi kì yóò bẹ̀rù. Kí ni ènìyàn lè ṣe sí mi?
7 The LORD is my helper; I shall see my desire upon my enemies.
Olúwa ń bẹ fún mi; òun ni olùrànlọ́wọ́ mi. Nítorí náà ni èmi ó ṣe rí ìṣẹ́gun mi lórí àwọn tí ó kórìíra mi.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man;
Ó dára láti máa gbẹ́kẹ̀lé Olúwa ju àti gbẹ́kẹ̀lé ènìyàn lọ.
9 It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in princes.
Ó dára láti máa gbẹ́kẹ̀lé Olúwa ju à ti gbẹ́kẹ̀lé àwọn ọmọ-aládé lọ.
10 All the nations beset me around, But in the name of the LORD I destroyed them.
Gbogbo àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè yí mi káàkiri, ṣùgbọ́n ní orúkọ Olúwa èmi gé wọn kúrò.
11 They beset me on every side; But in the name of the LORD I destroyed them.
Wọ́n yí mi káàkiri ní gbogbo ẹ̀gbẹ́, ṣùgbọ́n ní orúkọ Olúwa èmi gé wọn dànù.
12 They beset me around like bees; They were quenched like the fire of thorns, For in the name of the LORD I destroyed them.
Wọ́n gbá yìn ìn yí mi ká bí oyin, ṣùgbọ́n wọ́n kú kíákíá bí iná ẹ̀gún; ní orúkọ Olúwa èmi ké wọn dànù.
13 Thou didst assail me with violence to bring me down! But the LORD was my support.
Ìwọ tì mí gidigidi kí n lè ṣubú, ṣùgbọ́n Olúwa ràn mí lọ́wọ́.
14 The LORD is my glory and my song; For to him I owe my salvation.
Olúwa ni agbára àti orin mi; ó sì di ìgbàlà mi.
15 The voice of joy and salvation is in the habitations of the righteous: “The right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly;
Ohùn ayọ̀ àti ìgbàlà ń bẹ nínú àgọ́ àwọn olódodo: “Ọwọ́ ọ̀tún Olúwa ń ṣe ohun agbára!
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.”
Ọwọ́ ọ̀tún Olúwa ní a gbéga; ọwọ́ ọ̀tún Olúwa ń ṣe ohun agbára!”
17 I shall not die, but live, And declare the deeds of the LORD.
Èmi kì yóò kú, ṣùgbọ́n èmi yóò yè, èmi yóò pòkìkí ohun tí Olúwa ṣe.
18 The LORD hath sorely chastened me, But he hath not given me over to death.
Olúwa bá mi wí gidigidi, ṣùgbọ́n òun kò fi mí lé ikú lọ́wọ́.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness, That I may go in, and praise the LORD!
Ṣí ìlẹ̀kùn ẹnu-ọ̀nà òdodo fún mi: èmi yóò bá ibẹ̀ wọlé, èmi yóò sì fi ọpẹ́ fún Olúwa.
20 This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous enter.
Èyí ni ìlẹ̀kùn Olúwa ibẹ̀ ni àwọn olódodo yóò bá wọlé.
21 I praise thee that thou hast heard me, And hast been my salvation.
Èmi yóò fi ọpẹ́ fún ọ, nítorí ó dá mi lóhùn; ìwọ sì di ìgbàlà mi.
22 “The stone which the builders rejected Hath become the chief corner-stone.
Òkúta tí àwọn ọ̀mọ̀lé kọ̀sílẹ̀, ni ó di pàtàkì igun ilé;
23 This is the LORD'S doing; It is marvellous in our eyes!
Olúwa ti ṣe èyí, ó ṣe ìyanu ní ojú wa.
24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Èyí ni ọjọ́ tí Olúwa dá: ẹ jẹ́ kí ayọ̀ kí inú wa sì máa dùn nínú rẹ̀.
25 Hear, O LORD! and bless us! Hear, O LORD! and send us prosperity!”
Olúwa, gbà wá; Olúwa, fún wa ní àlàáfíà.
26 “Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD! We bless you from the house of the LORD.”
Ìbùkún ni ẹni tí ń bọ̀ wá ní orúkọ Olúwa. Àwa ti fi ìbùkún fún ọ láti ilé Olúwa wá.
27 “Jehovah is God, he hath shone upon us: Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar!”
Olúwa ni Ọlọ́run, ó ti mú ìmọ́lẹ̀ rẹ̀ tàn sí wa lára pẹ̀lú ẹ̀ka igi ní ọwọ́, ó dára pọ̀ mọ́ ọ̀pọ̀ ènìyàn tí ń wọ́ nínú ayọ̀ ẹ fi okùn di ẹbọ náà mọ́ ìwo pẹpẹ.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee; Thou art my God, and I will exalt thee!
Ìwọ ni Ọlọ́run mi, èmi yóò máa fi ọpẹ́ fún ọ; ìwọ ni Ọlọ́run mi, èmi yóò gbé ọ ga.
29 O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; For his kindness endureth for ever!
Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Olúwa, nítorí tí ó ṣeun; nítorí tí àánú rẹ̀ dúró láéláé.
