Psalms 111

1 Praise ye the LORD! I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, In the assembly of the righteous, and in the congregation.

Alleluja. Będę wysławiał PANA całym sercem w radzie prawych i w zgromadzeniu.

2 The works of the LORD are great, Sought out by all who have pleasure in them.

Wielkie [są] dzieła PANA, rozważane przez wszystkich, którzy je miłują.

3 His deeds are honorable and glorious, And his righteousness endureth for ever.

Jego dzieło jest chwalebne i wspaniałe, a jego sprawiedliwość trwa na wieki.

4 He hath established a memorial of his wonders; The LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

Pamiętnymi uczynił swe cuda; miłosierny i litościwy [jest] PAN.

5 He giveth meat to them that fear him; He is ever mindful of his covenant.

Dał pokarm tym, którzy się go boją, pamięta wiecznie o swoim przymierzu.

6 He showed his people the greatness of his works, When he gave them the inheritance of the heathen.

Okazał swemu ludowi potęgę swoich dzieł, dając mu dziedzictwo pogan.

7 The deeds of his hands are truth and justice; All his commandments are sure;

Dzieła rąk jego to prawda i sąd, niezmienne [są] wszystkie jego przykazania;

8 They stand firm for ever and ever, Being founded in truth and justice.

Ustalone na wieki wieków, ustanowione w prawdzie i prawości.

9 He sent redemption to his people; He established his covenant for ever; Holy, and to be had in reverence, is his name.

Zesłał swemu ludowi odkupienie, ustanowił na wieki swoje przymierze; jego imię [jest] święte i straszne.

10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all they who keep his commandments; His praise endureth for ever.

Bojaźń PANA [jest] początkiem mądrości; prawdziwego rozumu [nabywają] wszyscy, którzy wypełniają [jego przykazania]; jego chwała trwa na wieki.
