Psalms 102
1 “A prayer of the afflicted, when in deep distress he poureth out his complaint before the Lord.” Hear my prayer, O LORD! And let my cry come unto thee!
Oração do aflito, quando ele se viu desfalecido, e derramou sua súplica diante do SENHOR: Ó SENHOR, ouve minha oração; e que meu clamor chegue a ti.
2 Hide not thy face from me in the day of my trouble; Incline thine ear to me when I call! Answer me speedily!
Não escondas de mim o teu rosto no dia da minha angústia; inclina a mim teu ouvidos; no dia em que eu clamar, apressa-te para me responder.
3 For my life is consumed like smoke, And my bones burn like a brand.
Porque os meus dias têm se desfeito como fumaça; e meus ossos se têm se queimado como [n] um forno.
4 My heart is smitten and withered like grass; Yea, I forget to eat my bread.
Meu coração, tal como a erva, está tão ferido e seco, que me esqueci de comer meu pão.
5 By reason of my sighing, my bones cleave to my skin;
Por causa da voz do meu gemido, meus ossos têm se grudado à minha carne.
6 I am like the pelican of the wilderness; I am like an owl amid ruins.
Estou semelhante a uma ave no deserto, estou como uma coruja num lugar desabitado.
7 I am sleepless; I am like a solitary bird upon the house-top.
Fico alerta e estou como um pardal solitário sobre o telhado.
8 All the day long my enemies reproach me; They who rage against me curse by me.
Os meus inimigos me insultam o dia todo; os que me odeiam juram [maldições] contra mim.
9 For I eat ashes like bread, And mingle my drink with tears.
Porque estou comendo cinza como [se fosse] pão, e misturo minha bebida com lágrimas,
10 On account of thine indignation and thy wrath; For thou hast lifted me up and cast me down!
Por causa de tua irritação e tua ira; porque tu me levantaste e me derrubaste.
11 My life is like a declining shadow, And I wither like grass.
Meus dias [têm sido] como a sombra, que declina; e eu estou secando como a erva.
12 But thou, O LORD! endurest for ever, And thy name from generation to generation!
Porém tu, SENHOR, permaneces para sempre; e tua lembrança [continua] geração após geração.
13 Thou wilt arise and have pity upon Zion, For the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come.
Tu te levantarás, e terás piedade de Sião; porque chegou o tempo determinado para se apiedar dela.
14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones; Yea, they have a regard for her dust.
Pois os teus servos se agradam de suas pedras, e sentem compaixão do pó de suas [ruínas].
15 Then shall the nations fear the name of Jehovah, And all the kings of the earth thy glory.
Então as nações temerão o nome do SENHOR; e todos os reis da terra [temerão] a tua glória;
16 For Jehovah will build up Zion; He will appear in his glory.
Quando o SENHOR edificar a Sião, [e] aparecer em sua glória;
17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, And not despise their supplication.
E der atenção à oração do desamparado, e não desprezar sua oração.
18 This shall be written for the generation to come, That the people to be born may praise Jehovah.
Isto será escrito para a geração futura; e o povo que for criado louvará ao SENHOR;
19 For he looketh down from his holy height, From heaven doth he cast his eye upon the earth,
Porque ele olhará desde o alto de seu santuário; o SENHOR olhará desde os céus para a terra,
20 To listen to the sighs of the prisoner. To release those that are doomed to death;
Para ouvir o gemido dos prisioneiros; para soltar aos sentenciados à morte.
21 That they may declare the name of Jehovah in Zion, And his praise in Jerusalem,
Para eles anunciarem o nome do SENHOR em Sião, e seu louvor em Jerusalém.
22 When the nations are assembled together, And the kingdoms to serve Jehovah.
Quando os povos se reunirem, e os reinos, para servirem ao SENHOR.
23 He hath weakened my strength on the way, He hath shortened my days.
Ele abateu minha força no caminho; abreviou os meus dias.
24 I say, O my God! take me not away in the midst of my days! Thy years endure through all generations.
Eu dizia: Meu Deus, não me leves no meio dos meus dias; teus anos são [eternos], geração após geração.
25 Of old hast thou laid the foundations of the earth, And the heavens are the work of thy hands;
Desde muito antes fundaste a terra; e os céus são obra de tuas mãos.
26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure; Yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; As a vesture shalt thou change them, And they shall be changed;
Eles se destruirão, porém tu permanecerás; e todos eles como vestimentas se envelhecerão; como roupas tu os mudarás, e serão mudados.
27 But thou art the same, And thy years have no end.
Porém tu és o mesmo; e teus anos nunca se acabarão.
28 The children of thy servants shall dwell securely, And their posterity shall be established before thee.
Os filhos de teus servos habitarão [seguros], e a semente deles será firmada perante ti.
