< Proverbs 9 >
1 Wisdom hath builded her house; She hath hewn out her seven pillars.

2 She hath killed her fatlings; She hath mingled her wine; Yea, she hath furnished her table.

3 She hath sent forth her maidens; She crieth aloud upon the highest places of the city:
Munsang laija kon'in khopi sung mihoa kon chun, mikou din asohte asol in ahi.
4 “Whoever is simple, let him turn in hither!” To him that is void of understanding she saith,
Koi hileh milham a um jouse, “Kakom'a hung hen,” tin akousah in ahi. Chule koi hileh alungthim bei tapou chu, kou-un, ati.
5 “Come, eat of my bread, And drink of the wine which I have mingled!
“Hung un, kaneh ding khel in neuvin, kadon ding khel in lengpitwi don un.
6 Forsake folly, and live! And go forward in the way of understanding!
Milham in um hih un, giltah in hetkhenna neijin hinkho mang un,” ati.
7 “He who correcteth a scoffer Bringeth shame upon himself; And he who rebuketh the wicked Bringeth upon himself a stain.
Mi munem'a noisea, adih bolsah teiding gopan jong kisuh khahna aneilo-bep ahi.
8 Rebuke not a scoffer, lest he hate thee; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Hijeh chun mi munem pum-a adih bolsah teiding go-hih in, ajeh chu nahin mudalo thei ahi. Hinlah miching chu hil lechun nangailua pang jo-ding ahi.
9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser; Teach a righteous man, and he will increase his learning.
Miching chu nahil chan'a ching cheh cheh ding, hibang chun mikitah jong nahil chan'a ching cheh ding ahi.
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Most Holy is understanding.
Yahweh Pakai ginna hi chihna bulpi ahin, mithengpa hetna nei chan chun giltah'a thu ahetdoh ahi.
11 Yea, through me thy days shall be multiplied, And the years of thy life shall be increased.
Ajeh chu keima jal'a na hinkho sao chom ding, na hinkho sunga nakum jong kibe tei ding ahi.
12 If thou art wise, thou art wise for thyself; And if thou art a scoffer, thou alone must bear it.”
Na chihna chu nangma goh-keuseh ding ahin, midang noisena nanei le mona chu na changseh a nakipoh ding ahi.
13 The foolish woman is clamorous; She is very simple, and careth for nothing.
Numei ngol kiti chu akam tam in, amanu chu pannabei le jum helou ahi.
14 She sitteth at the door of her house, Upon a seat in the high places of the city,
Amanu chu a-in kot phunga atoujin, kholai jenga jong mundoh lai a bou atoujin ahi.
15 To call aloud to those that pass by, Who go straight forward in their ways,
Amanun mi ama kincheh a kisalel akom'a hung kijot hochu “akou jin,”
16 “Whoever is simple, let him turn in hither!” And to him that is void of understanding she saith,
Chule milham ho koma chun kakom'a hung un tin, akouvin, lungthim beija um jouse tin akoujin ahi.
17 “Stolen water is sweet, And bread eaten in secret is pleasant.”
“Aguh'a kidon twi hi alhum in, aguh a kineji changlhah jong lungkim umtah ahi,” ati.
18 But he considereth not that the dead are there, That in the vales of the under-world are her guests. (Sheol )
Hinlah golhangpa chun hiche mun hi thina ahi ti, aheji pon, numeinu insunga lhung jinhon jong noimi-gam mithi kholna'a lhalut ahilam-u, akihet phahji tapouve. (Sheol )
