Proverbs 6
1 My son, if thou hast become surety for another, If thou hast stricken hands for another,
၁ငါ့ သား ၊ သင် သည် အဆွေ ခင်ပွန်းအတွက် အာမခံ မိသော် ၎င်း၊ သူတပါး နှင့် လက်ဝါး ချင်း ရိုက် မိ သော်၎င်း၊
2 If thou hast become ensnared by the words of thy mouth, If thou hast been caught by the words of thy mouth,
၂ကိုယ် နှုတ်ထွက် စကား ဖြင့် ကျော့မိ ပြီ။ ကိုယ် ပြော သောစကား ကြောင့် အမှု ရောက်လေပြီ။
3 Do this now, my son, and rescue thyself, —Since thou hast fallen into the hands of thy neighbor, —Go, prostrate thyself, and be urgent with thy neighbor!
၃ငါ့ သား ၊ သင် သည် အဆွေ ခင်ပွန်းလက် သို့ ရောက် မိလျှင် ၊ ကိုယ်ကိုနှုတ် အံ့သောငှါအဘယ်သို့ပြု ရမည်နည်းဟူမူကား ၊ အဆွေ ခင်ပွန်းထံသို့သွား ၍ ၊ ကိုယ်ကိုနှိမ့်ချ လျက် သူ့ကို နှိုးဆော်လော့။
4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids;
၄အိပ် မ ပျော်နှင့်။ မျက်စိ မှိတ် ၍ မငိုက် နှင့်။
5 Rescue thyself, as a roe from the hand, And as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
၅မုဆိုး လက် မှ သမင်ဒရယ် ကို၎င်း၊ ငှက် ကို၎င်းနှုတ် ရသကဲ့သို့ ကိုယ်ကိုနှုတ် လော့။
6 Go to the ant, O sluggard! Consider her ways, and be wise!
၆အချင်း လူပျင်း၊ ပရွက်ဆိတ် ထံသို့ သွား ၍၊ သူ ၏ အပြု အမူတို့ကို ဆင်ခြင် သဖြင့် ပညာ ရှိစေလော့။
7 She hath no governor, Nor overseer, nor ruler;
၇ပရွတ်ဆိတ် သည်ဆရာ မ ရှိ၊ ပဲ့ပြင် သောသူမရှိ၊ မင်း မရှိဘဲလျက် ၊
8 Yet she prepareth in the summer her food, She gathereth in the harvest her meat.
၈နွေ ကာလနှင့် စပါး ရိတ်ရာကာလ၌ မိမိ စားစရာ အစာ ကို ရှာဖွေသိုထား တတ်၏။
9 How long wilt thou lie in bed, O sluggard? When wilt thou arise from thy sleep?
၉အိုလူပျင်း ၊ သင် သည် အဘယ် မျှကာလ ပတ်လုံးအိပ် လျက်နေလိမ့်မည်နည်း။ အဘယ် သောအခါနိုး လိမ့်မည်နည်း။
10 “A little sleep, —a little slumber, —A little folding of the hands to rest:”
၁၀ခဏ အိပ် လျက်၊ ခဏ ပျော် လျက်၊ အိပ်ပျော် အံ့သောငှါ ခဏ လက် ချင်းပိုက် လျက် နေစဉ်တွင်၊
11 So shall thy poverty come upon thee like a robber, Yea, thy want, as an armed man!
၁၁ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်းသည် ခရီးသွား သော သူကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း၊ ဥစ္စာ ပြုန်းတီးခြင်းသည် သူရဲ ကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း ရောက် လာ လိမ့်မည်။
12 A worthless wretch is the unrighteous man, Who walketh with a deceitful mouth;
၁၂ဆိုးယုတ် သော သူ နှင့်မ တရားသောသူ သည် ကောက်လိမ် သော စကား၌ ကျင်လည် တတ်၏။
13 Who winketh with his eyes, Speaketh with his feet, And teacheth with his fingers.
၁၃မျက်တောင် ခတ် လျက် ၊ ခြေ ဖြင့် အမှတ် ပေးလျက် ၊ လက် ချောင်းတို့ဖြင့် သွန်သင် လျက် ပြုတတ်၏။
14 Fraud is in his heart; He deviseth mischief continually; He scattereth contentions.
၁၄ကောက် သောစိတ် သဘောနှင့် ပြည့်စုံ၍၊ မ ကောင်းသော အကြံကို အစဉ် ကြံစည် တတ်၏။ သူတပါးချင်းရန်တွေ့ စေခြင်းငှါပြုတတ်၏။
15 Therefore shall calamity come upon him suddenly; In a moment shall he be destroyed, and that without remedy;
၁၅ထိုကြောင့် သူ သည် အမှတ်တမဲ့ အမှု ရောက် ၍၊ ကိုးကွယ် ရာမ ရဘဲ ချက်ခြင်း ကျိုးပဲ့ ပျက်စီးရလိမ့်မည်။
16 These six things doth the LORD hate; Yea, seven are an abomination to him:
၁၆ထာဝရဘုရား မုန်း တော်မူသောအရာ ခြောက် ပါးမက၊ စက်ဆုပ် ရွံ့ရှာတော်မူသောအရာ ခုနစ် ပါး ဟူမူကား ၊
17 Lofty eyes, a false tongue, And hands which shed innocent blood;
၁၇ထောင်လွှား သော မျက်နှာ တပါး၊ မုသာ ၌ ကျင်လည် သော လျှာ တပါး၊ အပြစ် မရှိသောသူ၏ အသက် ကိုသတ် သော လက် တပါး၊
18 A heart that contriveth wicked devices; Feet that are swift in running to mischief,
၁၈မ ကောင်းသော အကြံ ကို ကြံစည် သော နှလုံး တပါး၊ အပြစ် ပြုရာသို့ အလျင် အမြန်ပြေး တတ်သော ခြေ တပါး၊
19 A false witness, that uttereth lies, And him that soweth discord among brethren.
၁၉မုသာ စကားကိုပြော ၍ မ မှန်သောသက်သေ တပါး၊ အပေါင်း အဘော်ချင်း ရန်တွေ့ စေခြင်းငှါပြုတတ် သော သူတပါးတည်း။
20 Keep, O my son! the commandment of thy father, And forsake not the precepts of thy mother!
၂၀ငါ့ သား ၊ အဘ ၏ပညတ် စကားကို နားထောင် လော့။ အမိ ပေးသော တရား ကို မ ပယ် နှင့်။
21 Bind them continually to thy heart, Tie them around thy neck!
၂၁နှလုံး ပေါ် မှာ အမြဲ ချည် ၍ လည်ပင်း ၌ ဆွဲ ထား လော့။
22 When thou goest forth, they shall guide thee; When thou sleepest, they shall watch over thee; And, when thou awakest, they shall talk with thee.
၂၂သင် သည် အခြားသို့ သွား သောအခါ ၊ ထိုပညတ် တရားသည် လမ်း ပြလိမ့်မည်။ အိပ် သောအခါ သင့် ကို စောင့် လိမ့်မည်။ နိုး သောအခါ သင် နှင့် နှုတ်ဆက် လိမ့်မည်။
23 For the commandment is a lamp, and instruction a light; Yea, the rebukes of correction lead to life.
၂၃အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ပညတ် တော်သည် မီးခွက် ဖြစ်၏။ တရား တော်သည် အလင်း ဖြစ်၏။ အပြစ်ကို ပြတတ်သော ဩဝါဒ စကားသည် အသက် လမ်း ဖြစ်၏။
24 They shall guard thee from the evil woman, From the smooth tongue of the unchaste woman.
၂၄ဆိုး သောမိန်းမ နှင့် ၎င်း၊ အမျိုး ပျက်သော မိန်းမချော့မော့ တတ်သော နှုတ် နှင့်၎င်း လွတ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ သင့် ကို စောင့် ဘို့ရာဖြစ်သတည်း။
25 Desire not her beauty in thy heart, Nor let her catch thee with her eyelids;
၂၅ထိုသို့သောမိန်းမ သည် အဆင်း လှသော်လည်း ၊ တပ်မက် သောစိတ် မ ရှိနှင့်။ သူ သည် မျက်ခမ်း တို့ဖြင့် သင့် ကိုမ ကျော့မိ စေနှင့်။
26 For by a harlot a man is brought to a morsel of bread, And the adulteress layeth snares for the precious life.
၂၆အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ပြည်တန်ဆာ မကို မှီဝဲသော ယောက်ျား သည် ဆင်းရဲ၍၊ မုန့် တလုံးကိုသာ ရတတ်၏။ မျောက်မထားသော မိန်းမ သည်လည်း မြတ် သောအသက် ကို ဘမ်း တတ်၏။
27 Can a man take fire into his bosom, And his clothes not be burned?
၂၇လူ သည်အဝတ် မ လောင် ဘဲ မီး ကို ပိုက် ဘက်နိုင် သလော ။
28 Can one walk upon burning coals, And his feet not be scorched?
၂၈ခြေ မ လောင် ဘဲမီး ခဲပေါ် မှာ နင်း နိုင်သလော။
29 So is it with him who goeth in to his neighbor's wife; Whoever toucheth her shall not go unpunished.
၂၉သူ့ မယား ထံသို့ ဝင် သောသူသည် ထိုနည်းတူ ဖြစ်၏။ သူ့ မယားကို ပြစ်မှား သော သူမည်သည် ကား၊ အပြစ် နှင့် မ ကင်းမလွတ်နိုင်ရာ၊
30 Men do not overlook a thief, Though he steal to satisfy his appetite, when he is hungry;
၃၀မွတ်သိပ် သောစိတ် ပြေ စေခြင်းငှါ ၊ ခိုး သောသူ ပင် အပြစ် မလွတ်ရ။
31 If found, he must repay sevenfold, And give up all the substance of his house.
၃၁တွေ့ မိလျှင် ခုနစ် ဆပြန်ပေး ရမည်။ ကိုယ် အိမ် ၌ ရှိသမျှ သော ဥစ္စာ တို့ကို လျော် ရမည်။
32 Whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding; He that doeth it destroyeth himself;
၃၂သူ့မယား ကိုပြစ်မှား သောသူသည် ဉာဏ် မ ရှိ။ ထိုသို့ ပြု သောသူ သည် မိမိ အသက် ကို ဖျက်ဆီး တတ်၏။
33 Blows and dishonor shall he get, And his reproach shall not be wiped away.
၃၃နာကျင် စွာ ထိခိုက်ခြင်းနှင့် အသရေ ရှုတ်ချခြင်း ကိုခံရ လိမ့်မည်။ သူ ၏အရှက် ကွဲခြင်းသည် မ ပြေ နိုင်။
34 For jealousy is the fury of a man; He will not spare in the day of vengeance;
၃၄အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ယောက်ျား သည် မယားကို မယုံ သောစိတ်ရှိလျှင် ၊ ပြင်းထန်စွာ အမျက်ထွက် တတ်၏။ အပြစ် ပေးချိန် ရောက်သောအခါ သနား ခြင်းမ ရှိတတ်။
35 And he will not pay regard to any ransom, Nor be content, though thou offer many gifts.
၃၅လျော်ပြစ်ငွေ မည်မျှ ကို ပမာဏ မ ပြုတတ်။ များစွာ သော လက်ဆောင် တို့ကိုပေးသော်လည်း စိတ် မ ပြေတတ်။
