Proverbs 27
1 Boast not thyself of to-morrow; For thou knowest not what a day may bring forth!
১কাইলৈৰ বিষয়ে অহংকাৰ নকৰিবা; কাৰণ দিনটোত কি হ’ব, সেই বিষয়ে তুমি নাজানা।
2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; A stranger, and not thine own lips.
২আনলোকে তোমাৰ প্ৰশংসা কৰক, কিন্তু তোমাৰ নিজৰ মুখে নকৰক; অচিনাকী লোকে কৰক, কিন্তু তোমাৰ নিজৰ ওঁঠে নকৰক।
3 A stone is heavy and sand is weighty; But a fool's wrath is heavier than both.
৩গধুৰ শিল, আৰু বালিৰ ওজনৰ গুৰুত্ব বিবেচনা কৰা; কিন্তু অজ্ঞানী লোকৰ উত্তেজনা এই দুয়োটাতকৈ গধুৰ।
4 Wrath is cruel, and anger overwhelming; But who is able to stand before jealousy?
৪ক্ৰোধ নিষ্ঠুৰ, আৰু খং বানপানীৰ দৰে; কিন্তু ঈৰ্ষাৰ আগত কোনে থিয় হ’ব পাৰে?
5 Better is open rebuke Than love kept concealed.
৫লুকুৱাই ৰখা প্ৰেমতকৈ, প্ৰকাশিত অনুযোগ ভাল।
6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
৬বন্ধুৰ দ্বাৰা বিশ্বাসঘাত হয়; কিন্তু এজন শত্রুৱে বহুতো চুমা খাব পাৰে।
7 He who is fed to the full loatheth the honeycomb; But to the hungry any bitter thing is sweet.
৭তৃপ্ত হোৱা জনে মৌ চাককো ঘিণ কৰে; কিন্তু ক্ষুধাতুৰ লোকৰ বাবে সকলো তিতা বস্তুও মিঠা।
8 As a bird that wandereth from its nest, So is a man who wandereth from his place.
৮নিজৰ বাহৰ পৰা ভ্ৰমি ফুৰা চৰাই যেনে, নিজৰ থকা ঠাইৰ পৰা পথভ্ৰষ্ট হোৱা মানুহ তেনে।
9 Oil and perfume gladden the heart; Sweet also is one's friend by hearty counsel.
৯সুগন্ধ দ্রব্য আৰু ধূপে যেনেকৈ হৃদয় আনন্দিত কৰে, কিন্তু বন্ধুৰ পৰামৰ্শতকৈ তেওঁৰ আন্তৰিকতা শ্রেষ্ঠ।
10 Thine own friend and thy father's friend forsake not; And go not into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity. Better is a neighbor that is near, than a brother far off.
১০তোমাৰ বন্ধু আৰু তোমাৰ বন্ধুৰ পিতৃক পৰিত্যাগ নকৰিবা, আৰু তোমাৰ বিপদৰ দিনত ভায়েকৰ ঘৰলৈ নাযাবা। দূৰত থকা ভায়েকতকৈ ওচৰত থকা চুবুৰীয়াই ভাল।
11 Be wise, my son, and make my heart glad, That I may give an answer to him that reproacheth me.
১১হে মোৰ পুত্র, জ্ঞানৱান হোৱা, আৰু মোৰ হৃদয়ক আনন্দিত কৰা। তাৰ পাছত মই বিদ্রূপ কৰা সকলক উত্তৰ দিম।
12 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; The simple pass on, and are punished.
১২দূৰদৰ্শী লোকে বিপদ দেখি নিজকে লুকুৱায়; কিন্তু অশিক্ষিত লোকে আগুৱাই যায় আৰু ইয়াৰ বাবে ক্ষতিপূৰণ কৰিবলগীয়া হয়।
13 Take his garment who is surety for another; Yea, take a pledge of him who is bound for a stranger.
১৩যি জনে অচিনাকী লোকৰ জামিন হয়, তেওঁৰ বস্ত্ৰ লোৱা; আৰু অচিনাকী লোকৰ বাবে নিৰাপত্তা স্বৰূপে ধন লোৱা।
14 He who blesseth his neighbor with a loud voice, rising early for it, It shall be accounted to him as a curse.
১৪যি কোনোৱে ৰাতিপুৱাতে উচ্চস্বৰে নিজৰ চুবুৰীয়াক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰে, সেই আশীৰ্ব্বাদ শাও ৰূপেহে গণ্য হয়।
15 A continual dropping in a very rainy day And a quarrelsome wife are alike.
১৫এজনী দ্বন্দুৰী ভাৰ্যা বৰষুণৰ দিনত টোপ টোপকৈ পানী পৰাৰ দৰে হয়।
16 He who restraineth her restraineth the wind; And his right hand layeth hold of oil.
১৬তেওঁক দমন কৰা মানে বতাহক দমন কৰা, আৰু তোমাৰ সোঁ হাতত তেল ধৰাৰ দৰে হয়।
17 Iron sharpeneth iron; So one man sharpeneth the face of another.
১৭যেনেকৈ লোহাই লোহাক চোকা কৰে, তেনেকৈ এজন মানুহে নিজৰ বন্ধুৰ মুখ উজ্জ্বল কৰে।
18 He that watcheth the fig-tree shall eat its fruit; So he that is careful for his master shall come to honor.
১৮যি জনে ডিমৰু গছক যত্ন কৰে, সেই জনে তাৰ ফল খাবলৈ পায়; আৰু যি জনে নিজৰ মালিকক সুৰক্ষা দিয়ে, তেওঁ সন্মান পায়।
19 As in water face answereth to face, So doth the heart of man to man.
১৯পানীত যেনেকৈ মানুহৰ মুখৰ প্ৰতিবিম্ব দেখা যায়, তেনেকৈ মানুহৰ হৃদয়ে মানুহৰ প্ৰতিবিম্ব দেখুৱাই।
২০চিয়োল আৰু আবদ্দোন যেনেকৈ কেতিয়াও সন্তুষ্ট নহয়, তেনেকৈ মানুহৰ চকুও কেতিয়াও সন্তুষ্ট নহয়। (Sheol h7585)
21 The refining-pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold; So let a man be to the mouth that giveth him praise.
২১ৰূপৰ বাবে ৰূপ গলোৱা পাত্ৰ, আৰু সোণৰ বাবে অগ্নিশাল; আৰু এজন মানুহক প্ৰশংসাৰ দ্বাৰাই পৰীক্ষা কৰা হয়।
22 Though thou shouldst beat a fool in a mortar, Among bruised wheat, with a pestle, Yet will not his folly depart from him.
২২যদিও তুমি অজ্ঞানীক ঘেঁহু ধানৰ সৈতে খুন্দা, তথাপিও তেওঁৰ অজ্ঞানতা দূৰ নহ’ব।
23 Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, And look well to thy herds!
২৩তোমাৰ পশু জাকৰ অৱস্থাৰ বুজলৈ তুমি নিশ্চিত হোৱা, আৰু তোমাৰ পশুৰ জাকৰ বিষয়ে চিন্তাকৰা,
24 For riches last not for ever; Not even a crown endureth from generation to generation.
২৪কিয়নো ধন-সম্পত্তি চিৰস্থায়ী নহয়। আৰু কিৰীটিও জানো পুৰুষানুক্ৰমে থাকে?
25 The hay disappeareth, and the tender grass showeth itself, And the herbage of the mountains is gathered in.
২৫ঘাঁহ শুকাই গৈ পুনৰ নতুন ঘাঁহ গজে, আৰু পৰ্ব্বতত পশুৰ বাবে আহাৰ থাকে।
26 The lambs are thy clothing, And the goats the price of thy field.
২৬মেৰ-ছাগবোৰে তোমাৰ বস্ত্রৰ যোগান ধৰিব, আৰু ছাগলীবোৰে তোমাৰ পথাৰৰ মূল্যৰ যোগান ধৰিব।
27 There is goat's milk enough for thy food, For the food of thy household, And for the sustenance of thy maidens.
২৭তোমাৰ আৰু তোমাৰ পৰিয়ালৰ আহাৰৰ বাবে আৰু তোমাৰ দাসীসকলৰ প্ৰতিপালনৰ বাবে ছাগলীবোৰে গাখীৰ দিব।
