Proverbs 22
1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches; And better is good-will than silver and gold.
Ун нуме бун есте май де дорит декыт о богэцие маре ши а фи юбит прецуеште май мулт декыт арӂинтул ши аурул.
2 The rich and the poor meet together; The LORD is the Maker of them all.
Богатул ши сэракул се ынтылнеск: Домнул й-а фэкут ши пе унул, ши пе алтул.
3 The prudent man seeth the evil, and hideth himself; But the simple rush on, and are punished.
Омул кибзуит веде ненорочиря ши се аскунде, дар чей прошть мерг ынаинте ши сунт педепсиць.
4 By humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches and honor and life.
Рэсплата смеренией, а фричий де Домнул, есте богэция, слава ши вяца.
5 Thorns and snares are in the way of the deceitful; He that will preserve his life will be far from them.
Спинь ши курсе сунт пе каля омулуй стрикат: чел че-шь пэзеште суфлетул се депэртязэ де еле.
6 Train up a child in accordance with his way, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Ынвацэ пе копил каля пе каре требуе с-о урмезе, ши кынд ва ымбэтрыни, ну се ва абате де ла еа.
7 The rich ruleth over the poor, And the borrower is servant to the lender.
Богатул стэпынеште песте чей сэрачь, ши чел че я ку ымпрумут есте робул челуй че-й дэ ку ымпрумут.
8 He who soweth iniquity shall reap calamity, And the rod of his punishment is prepared.
Чине сямэнэ нелеӂюире, нелеӂюире ва сечера, ши нуяуа нелеӂюирий луй есте гата.
9 He who hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed, Because he giveth of his bread to the poor.
Омул милостив ва фи бинекувынтат, пентру кэ дэ сэракулуй дин пыня луй.
10 Cast out the scoffer, and contention will go out; Yea, strife and reproach will cease.
Изгонеште пе батжокоритор ши чарта се ва сфырши, неынцелеӂериле ши окэриле вор ынчета.
11 He who loveth purity of heart, Grace is upon his lips, and the king will be his friend.
Чине юбеште курэция инимий ши аре бунэвоинца пе бузе есте приетен ку ымпэратул.
12 The eyes of the LORD watch over knowledge; But he overthroweth the words of the treacherous.
Окий Домнулуй пэзеск пе чел че аре штиинцэ, дар ынфрунтэ кувинтеле челуй стрикат.
13 The slothful man saith, “There is a lion without; I shall be slain in the streets.”
Ленешул зиче: „Афарэ есте ун леу, каре м-ар путя учиде пе улицэ!”
14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit; He with whom the LORD is angry shall fall therein.
Гура курвелор есте о гроапэ адынкэ; пе чине вря сэ-л педепсяскэ Домнул, ачела каде ын еа.
15 Folly is bound to the heart of a child; But the rod of correction will drive it far from him.
Небуния есте липитэ де инима копилулуй, дар нуяуа чертэрий о ва дезлипи де ел.
16 He that oppresseth the poor to increase his wealth, And he that giveth to the rich, shall surely come to want.
Чине асупреште пе сэрак ка сэ-шь мэряскэ авуция ва требуи сэ дя ши ел алтуя май богат ши ва дуче липсэ.
17 Incline thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, And give heed to my instruction!
Плякэ-ць урекя ши аскултэ кувинтеле ынцелепцилор ши я ынвэцэтура мя ын инимэ!
18 For it will be a pleasant thing, if thou keep them in thy bosom, When they are altogether established upon thy lips.
Кэч есте бине сэ ле пэстрезь ынэунтрул тэу ши сэ-ць фие тоате деодатэ пе бузе.
19 That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have this day given to thee instruction, yea, to thee.
Пентру ка сэ-ць пуй ынкредеря ын Домнул, вряу сэ те ынвэц еу астэзь, да, пе тине.
20 Behold, I have written to thee excellent things Concerning counsel and knowledge;
Н-ам аштернут еу оаре ын скрис пентру тине сфатурь ши куӂетэрь,
21 That I may make thee know rectitude, and words of truth; That thou mayst bring back words of truth to them that send thee.
ка сэ те ынвэц лукрурь темейниче, кувинте адевэрате, ка сэ рэспунзь ку ворбе адевэрате челуй че те тримите?
22 Rob not the poor man, because he is poor, Nor crush thou the destitute at the gate;
Ну деспуя пе сэрак, пентру кэ есте сэрак, ши ну асупри пе ненорочитул каре стэ ла поартэ!
23 For the LORD will maintain their cause, And despoil their spoilers of life.
Кэч Домнул ле ва апэра причина лор ши ва деспуя вяца челор че-й деспоае.
24 Make no friendship with a passionate man, Nor be the companion of a man prone to wrath;
Ну те ымприетени ку омул мыниос ши ну те ынсоци ку омул юте ла мыние,
25 Lest thou learn his ways, And take to thyself a snare.
ка ну кумва сэ те депринзь ку кэрэриле луй ши сэ-ць ажунгэ о курсэ пентру суфлет.
26 Be not thou one of those who strike hands, Of those who are sureties for debts.
Ну фи принтре чей че пун кезэший, принтре чей че дау зэлог пентру даторий!
27 When thou hast nothing to pay, Why should thy bed be taken from under thee?
Кэч, дакэ н-ай ку че сэ плэтешть, пентру че ай вои сэ ци се я патул де суб тине?
28 Remove not the ancient landmark, Which thy fathers have made.
Ну мута хотарул чел векь, пе каре л-ау ашезат пэринций тэй!
29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall be the minister of kings; He shall not serve obscure men.
Дакэ везь ун ом искусит ын лукрул луй, ачела поате ста лынгэ ымпэраць, ну лынгэ оамений де рынд.
