கடலில் இறந்தவர்களை கடல் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தது. மரணமும், பாதாளமும் அவைகளுக்குள் கிடந்தவர்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தன. ஒவ்வொருவனுக்கும், அவன் செய்ததற்கு ஏற்றதாகவே நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. (Hadēs g86)
