Micah 1
1 The word of Jehovah, which came to Micah, the Morasthite, in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah; which was revealed to him concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
Palavra do SENHOR que veio a Miqueias, o morastita, nos dias de Jotão, Acaz, [e] Ezequias, reis de Judá; que ele viu sobre Samaria e Jerusalém.
2 Hear, all ye nations, Give ear, O earth, and all that is therein! The Lord, Jehovah, appeareth as a witness against you, The Lord from his holy palace.
Ouvi vós todos os povos; presta atenção tu, ó terra, e tudo o que nela há; pois o Senhor DEUS será testemunha contra vós, o Senhor desde seu santo templo.
3 Behold, Jehovah cometh forth from his dwelling-place; He cometh down, and advanceth upon the high places of the earth.
Porque eis que SENHOR está saindo de seu lugar, e descerá, e pisará os lugares altos da terra.
4 The mountains melt under him, And the valleys cleave asunder, Like wax before the fire, Like waters poured down a steep place.
E os montes debaixo dele se derreterão, e os vales se fenderão como a cera diante do fogo, como as águas se derramam por um precipício.
5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, And for the sin of the house of Israel. Where is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not at Samaria? And where are the high places of Judah? Are they not at Jerusalem?
Tudo isto é por causa da transgressão de Jacó e dos pecados da casa de Israel. Qual é a transgressão de Jacó? Não é Samaria? E quais são os altos de Judá? Não é Jerusalém?
6 Therefore will I make Samaria a heap of stones in the field, A place for the planting of a vineyard; I will pour down her stones into the valley, And lay bare her foundations.
Por isso tornarei a Samaria em amontoado de pedras no campo, em plantação de vinhas; e derrubarei suas pedras no vale, e descobrirei seus fundamentos.
7 All her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, And all the hire of her harlotry shall be burned with fire, And all her idols will I destroy. For from the hire of a harlot did she gather her ornaments, And to the hire of a harlot shall they return.
E todas suas imagens de escultura serão esmigalhadas, e todos seus salários de prostituta serão queimados com fogo, e destruirei todos os seus ídolos; porque do salário de prostituta os ajuntou, e para salário de prostituta voltarão.
8 Therefore I will wail and howl; I will go stripped and naked; I will wail like the jackal, And mourn like the ostrich.
Portanto lamentarei e uivarei, e andarei descalço e nu; farei uivos como de chacais, e lamentos como de filhotes de avestruzes.
9 For her wound is mortal; It extendeth to Judah; It reacheth to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
Porque suas feridas são incuráveis, que já chegaram até Judá; [isto] já chegou até a porta do meu povo, até Jerusalém.
10 Tell it not in Gath! weep not in Acco! In Beth-Aprah roll yourselves in the dust!
Não anunciai [isto] em Gate, nem choreis tanto; revolve-te no pó em Bete-Le-Afra.
11 Pass on, thou inhabitant of Saphir, naked and in shame! The inhabitant of Zaanan no more goeth out; The grief of Beth-Azel denieth you an abode.
Passa-te com vergonha descoberta, ó moradora de Safir; a moradora de Zaanã não sai; pranto há em Bete-Ezel; seu apoio foi tomado de vós.
12 The inhabitant of Maroth mourneth for his goods, For evil came down from Jehovah to the gates of Jerusalem.
Porque a moradora de Marote anseiam à espera do bem; pois um mal desceu do SENHOR até a porta de Jerusalém.
13 Bind the chariot to the courser, O inhabitant of Lachish! Thou wast the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; In thee were found the transgressions of Israel.
Liga os cavalos à carruagem, ó moradora de Laquis (ela é o princípio do pecado à filha de Sião), porque em ti foram achadas as transgressões de Israel.
14 Therefore shalt thou resign the possession of Moresheth of Gath; The houses of Achzib shall disappoint the kings of Israel.
Portanto, tu darás presentes de despedida a Moresete-Gate; as casas de Aczibe serão enganosas aos reis de Israel.
15 A possessor will I bring to thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah; The glory of Israel shall flee to Adullam.
Ainda trarei a ti um conquistador, ó moradora de Maressa; a glória de Israel virá até Adulão.
16 Make thyself bald, cut off thy locks, for the children of thy love; Enlarge thy baldness like the eagle; For they have gone from thee into captivity.
Faz em ti calva, e rapa-te por causa dos filhos a quem gostavas; aumenta tua calva como a águia; porque foram levados de ti em cativeiro.
