Micah 1
1 The word of Jehovah, which came to Micah, the Morasthite, in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah; which was revealed to him concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
യഹോവയുടെ വചനം മോരേശേത്ത്യനായ മീഖായ്ക്കു ലഭിച്ചു: യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരായ യോഥാം, ആഹാസ്, ഹിസ്കിയാവ് എന്നിവരുടെ ഭരണകാലത്ത്, ശമര്യയെക്കുറിച്ചും ജെറുശലേമിനെക്കുറിച്ചും അദ്ദേഹം കണ്ട ദർശനം.
2 Hear, all ye nations, Give ear, O earth, and all that is therein! The Lord, Jehovah, appeareth as a witness against you, The Lord from his holy palace.
സകലജനങ്ങളുമേ, കേൾക്കുക, ഭൂമിയും അതിലെ സകലനിവാസികളും ഇതു ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക, തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്ന് കർത്താവ്, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവുതന്നെ, നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായി സാക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
3 Behold, Jehovah cometh forth from his dwelling-place; He cometh down, and advanceth upon the high places of the earth.
നോക്കൂ, യഹോവ തന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു വരുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉന്നതങ്ങളിൽ കാലടികൾ ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
4 The mountains melt under him, And the valleys cleave asunder, Like wax before the fire, Like waters poured down a steep place.
തീയിൽ മെഴുകുപോലെയും മലഞ്ചെരിവിൽ വെള്ളം പാഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്നതുപോലെയും അവിടത്തെ ചവിട്ടടിയിൽ പർവതങ്ങൾ ഉരുകിപ്പോകുകയും താഴ്വരകൾ പിളർന്നുപോകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, And for the sin of the house of Israel. Where is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not at Samaria? And where are the high places of Judah? Are they not at Jerusalem?
യാക്കോബിന്റെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തവും ഇസ്രായേൽജനത്തിന്റെ പാപങ്ങൾനിമിത്തവും ഇതെല്ലാം സംഭവിച്ചു. യാക്കോബിന്റെ അതിക്രമം എന്ത്? ശമര്യ അല്ലയോ അതിന്റെ തലസ്ഥാനം? യെഹൂദയുടെ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ എവിടെ? ജെറുശലേം അല്ലയോ അതിന്റെ കേന്ദ്രം?
6 Therefore will I make Samaria a heap of stones in the field, A place for the planting of a vineyard; I will pour down her stones into the valley, And lay bare her foundations.
“അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ ശമര്യയെ വയലിലെ കൽക്കൂമ്പാരംപോലെയും മുന്തിരി നടുന്ന നിലംപോലെയും ആക്കും. ഞാൻ അവളുടെ കല്ലുകളെ താഴ്വരയിലേക്ക് എറിയും അവളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ ശൂന്യമാക്കും.
7 All her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, And all the hire of her harlotry shall be burned with fire, And all her idols will I destroy. For from the hire of a harlot did she gather her ornaments, And to the hire of a harlot shall they return.
അവളുടെ എല്ലാ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളും തകർക്കപ്പെടും; അവളുടെ സമ്മാനങ്ങളെല്ലാം അഗ്നിയിൽ ദഹിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടും; ഞാൻ അവളുടെ എല്ലാ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും നശിപ്പിക്കും. വേശ്യകളുടെ കൂലിയിൽനിന്ന് അവൾ തന്റെ സമ്മാനങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിച്ചതുകൊണ്ട്, വേശ്യകളുടെ കൂലിയായിത്തന്നെ അതു വീണ്ടും ചെലവഴിക്കപ്പെടും.”
8 Therefore I will wail and howl; I will go stripped and naked; I will wail like the jackal, And mourn like the ostrich.
ഇതുനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ കരഞ്ഞു വിലപിക്കും; ഞാൻ നഗ്നപാദനായും വിവസ്ത്രനായും നടക്കും. ഞാൻ കുറുക്കനെപ്പോലെ ഓരിയിടും ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെ വിലപിക്കും.
9 For her wound is mortal; It extendeth to Judah; It reacheth to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
ശമര്യയുടെ മുറിവ് സൗഖ്യമാക്കാൻ കഴിയുകയില്ല; അത് യെഹൂദയ്ക്കു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. അത് എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ കവാടത്തിൽ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു, ജെറുശലേമിൽത്തന്നെ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
10 Tell it not in Gath! weep not in Acco! In Beth-Aprah roll yourselves in the dust!
അത് ഗത്തിൽ അറിയിക്കരുത്; കരയുകയേ അരുത്. ബേത്ത്-അഫ്രായിൽ പൊടിയിൽ ഉരുളുന്നു.
11 Pass on, thou inhabitant of Saphir, naked and in shame! The inhabitant of Zaanan no more goeth out; The grief of Beth-Azel denieth you an abode.
ശാഫീർ നഗരനിവാസികളേ, നഗ്നരും ലജ്ജിതരുമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോകുക, സയനാനിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവർ പുറത്തുവരികയില്ല. ബേത്ത്-ഏസെൽ വിലപിക്കുന്നു; അത് ഒരിക്കലും നിനക്ക് സംരക്ഷണം നൽകുകയില്ല.
12 The inhabitant of Maroth mourneth for his goods, For evil came down from Jehovah to the gates of Jerusalem.
യഹോവയിൽനിന്ന് മഹാനാശം ജെറുശലേമിന്റെ കവാടംവരെ വന്നതുകൊണ്ട്, മാരോത്തുനിവാസികൾ ആശ്വാസത്തിനായി കാത്തുകൊണ്ട് വിങ്ങിപ്പൊട്ടുന്നു.
13 Bind the chariot to the courser, O inhabitant of Lachish! Thou wast the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; In thee were found the transgressions of Israel.
ലാഖീശുനിവാസികളേ, കുതിരകളെ രഥങ്ങളിൽ സജ്ജമാക്കുക! സീയോൻപുത്രിയുടെ പാപത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭം നിങ്ങളായിരുന്നല്ലോ, ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളിൽ കാണപ്പെട്ടു.
14 Therefore shalt thou resign the possession of Moresheth of Gath; The houses of Achzib shall disappoint the kings of Israel.
അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങൾ മോരേശത്ത്-ഗത്തിന് വിടചൊല്ലൽ സമ്മാനങ്ങൾ നൽകേണ്ടിവരും. ബേത്ത്-അക്സീബുനഗരം ഇസ്രായേൽ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ വഞ്ചിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
15 A possessor will I bring to thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah; The glory of Israel shall flee to Adullam.
മാരേശാനിവാസികളേ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായി ഒരു വീരനെ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിക്കും. ഇസ്രായേൽ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ അദുല്ലാമിലേക്ക് ഓടിപ്പോകും.
16 Make thyself bald, cut off thy locks, for the children of thy love; Enlarge thy baldness like the eagle; For they have gone from thee into captivity.
നിങ്ങൾ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ ഓർത്ത് വിലപിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളുടെ തല ക്ഷൗരംചെയ്യുക; അവർ നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ട് പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്നതിനാൽ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ കഷണ്ടിയെ കഴുകന്റേതുപോലെ വിശാലമാക്കുക.
