Micah 1
1 The word of Jehovah, which came to Micah, the Morasthite, in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah; which was revealed to him concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
೧ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೋಥಾಮ, ಆಹಾಜ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯ ಇವರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮೋರೆಷೆತ್ ಊರಿನವನಾದ ಮೀಕನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿ ಬಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಾಕ್ಯ.
2 Hear, all ye nations, Give ear, O earth, and all that is therein! The Lord, Jehovah, appeareth as a witness against you, The Lord from his holy palace.
೨ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೇ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ಭೂಮಂಡಲವೇ, ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತರೇ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
3 Behold, Jehovah cometh forth from his dwelling-place; He cometh down, and advanceth upon the high places of the earth.
೩ಇಗೋ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಇಳಿದುಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಉನ್ನತಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
4 The mountains melt under him, And the valleys cleave asunder, Like wax before the fire, Like waters poured down a steep place.
೪ಬೆಂಕಿಗೆ ಎದುರು ಕರಗುವ ಮೇಣದಂತೆಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಇಳಿಜಾರು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ರಭಸವಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಕಣಿವೆಗಳು, ಪರ್ವತಗಳು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೀಳಿ ಕರಗಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಹೊಗುತ್ತಿವೆ.
5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, And for the sin of the house of Israel. Where is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not at Samaria? And where are the high places of Judah? Are they not at Jerusalem?
೫ಇದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರಣ ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ದ್ರೋಹ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದ ಪಾಪಗಳೇ. ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ದ್ರೋಹವೇನು? ಸಮಾರ್ಯವಲ್ಲವೇ! ಯೆಹೂದದ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಾನಗಳು ಯಾವುವು? ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಲ್ಲವೇ!
6 Therefore will I make Samaria a heap of stones in the field, A place for the planting of a vineyard; I will pour down her stones into the valley, And lay bare her foundations.
೬ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಳು ದಿಬ್ಬವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟದ ಮಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅದರ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಗೆ ಸುರಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಅದರ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಬಯಲನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
7 All her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, And all the hire of her harlotry shall be burned with fire, And all her idols will I destroy. For from the hire of a harlot did she gather her ornaments, And to the hire of a harlot shall they return.
೭ಅದರ ಎರಕದ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪುಡಿಪುಡಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅದರ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಂಪಾದನೆಯು ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುವುದು. ಅದರ ಸಕಲ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅದು ವೇಶ್ಯಾವಾಟಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಸಂಪಾದನೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡವುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವೇಶ್ಯಾವಾಟಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಪಾದನೆಯಾಗಿಯೇ ಪರರ ಪಾಲಾಗುವವು.
8 Therefore I will wail and howl; I will go stripped and naked; I will wail like the jackal, And mourn like the ostrich.
೮ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಗೋಳಾಡಿ ರೋದಿಸುವೆನು, ಬರಿಗಾಲಾಗಿಯೂ, ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ನಡೆದಾಡುವೆನು. ನರಿಗಳಂತೆ ಅರಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಿರಿಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
9 For her wound is mortal; It extendeth to Judah; It reacheth to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
೯ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಪೆಟ್ಟು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸಲಾಗದು. ಅದು ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೂ ತಾಕಿದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಆಲೋಚನಾಸ್ಥಾನವಾದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
10 Tell it not in Gath! weep not in Acco! In Beth-Aprah roll yourselves in the dust!
೧೦ಇದನ್ನು ಗತ್ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಅಳಲೇಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಬೇತ್ಲೆಯಪ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಧೂಳಿನೊಳಗೆ ಹೊರಳಾಡಿರಿ.
11 Pass on, thou inhabitant of Saphir, naked and in shame! The inhabitant of Zaanan no more goeth out; The grief of Beth-Azel denieth you an abode.
೧೧ಶಾಫೀರಿನವರೇ, ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಅವಮಾನಪಟ್ಟು ತೊಲಗಿರಿ. ಚಾನಾನಿನವರು ಹೊರಡರು. ಬೇತೆಚೇಲಿನ ಗೋಳಾಟವು ಅದರ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದು.
12 The inhabitant of Maroth mourneth for his goods, For evil came down from Jehovah to the gates of Jerusalem.
೧೨ಕೇಡು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಪುರದ್ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತಗಲಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಮಾರೋತಿನವರು ತಮಗೆ ಮೇಲುಂಟಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ವೇದನೆಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
13 Bind the chariot to the courser, O inhabitant of Lachish! Thou wast the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; In thee were found the transgressions of Israel.
೧೩ಲಾಕೀಷಿನವರೇ ಅಶ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ರಥಕ್ಕೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಊರೇ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ನಗರಿಯ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂಲ, ಹೌದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಬಂದವು.
14 Therefore shalt thou resign the possession of Moresheth of Gath; The houses of Achzib shall disappoint the kings of Israel.
೧೪ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀವು ಮೋರೆಷತ್ ಗತ್ ಊರಿಗೆ ಬಳುವಳಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗುವುದು. ಅಕ್ಜೀಬಿನ ಮನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸರಿಗೆ ಮೋಸವಾಗುವುದು.
15 A possessor will I bring to thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah; The glory of Israel shall flee to Adullam.
೧೫ಮಾರೇಷದವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳತಕ್ಕವನನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ನಾಯಕರು ಅದುಲ್ಲಾಮ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರುವುದು.
16 Make thyself bald, cut off thy locks, for the children of thy love; Enlarge thy baldness like the eagle; For they have gone from thee into captivity.
೧೬ಯೆಹೂದವೇ, ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಸೆರೆಹೋಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುದ್ದು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷೌರಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೋ ಮತ್ತು ತಲೆಬೋಳಿಸಿಕೋ. ನಿನ್ನ ಬೋಳುತನವನ್ನು ರಣಹದ್ದಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೋ.
