Micah 7

1 Woe is me! I live where the summer fruits are gathered, And the vintage is gleaned; There is no cluster to eat; I long for the first-ripe fig.

۱ وای بر من زیرا که مثل جمع کردن میوه‌ها ومانند چیدن انگورهایی شده‌ام که نه خوشه‌ای برای خوراک دارد و نه نوبر انجیری که جان من آن را می‌خواهد.

2 The good man is perished from the land, And there is none upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; Every one hunteth his brother with a net.

۲ مرد متقی از جهان نابود شده، و راست کردار از میان آدمیان معدوم گردیده است. جمع ایشان برای خون کمین می‌گذارند و یکدیگر را به دام صید می‌نمایند.

3 Their hands are diligent for evil; The prince asketh a bribe, And the judge decideth for money! The great man giveth judgment according to his desire; They conspire to pervert justice.

۳ دستهای ایشان برای شرارت چالاک است، رئیس طلب می‌کند و داور رشوه می‌خواهد و مرد بزرگ به هوای نفس خود تکلم می‌نماید؛ پس ایشان آن را به هم می‌بافند.

4 The best of them is like a brier; The most upright of them is sharper than a thorn-hedge. The day of recompense, announced by thy watchmen, cometh; Then shall come their perplexity.

۴ نیکوترین ایشان مثل خار می‌باشد و راست کردار ایشان از خاربست بدتر. روز پاسبانانت و (روز) عقوبت تو رسیده است، الان اضطراب ایشان خواهد بود.

5 Trust ye not in a friend! Put no confidence in a guide! From her that lieth in thy bosom Keep the doors of thy mouth!

۵ بر یارخود اعتماد مدار و بر دوست خالص خویش توکل منما و در دهان خود را از هم آغوش خودنگاه دار.

6 For the son dishonoreth his father, The daughter riseth up against her mother, And the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; The inmates of a man's house are his foes.

۶ زیرا که پسر، پدر را افتضاح می‌کند ودختر با مادر خود و عروس با خارسوی خویش مقاومت می‌نمایند و دشمنان شخص اهل خانه اومی باشند.

7 I will look to Jehovah; I will hope in the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.

۷ اما من بسوی خداوند نگرانم و برای خدای نجات خود انتظار می‌کشم و خدای من مرااجابت خواهد نمود.

8 Rejoice not over me, O my enemy! Though I have fallen, I shall arise; Though I sit in darkness, Jehovah will be my light.

۸ ‌ای دشمن من بر من شادی منما زیرا اگر‌چه بیفتم خواهم برخاست و اگرچه در تاریکی بنشینم خداوند نور من خواهد بود.

9 I will bear the indignation of Jehovah, Because I have sinned against him, Until he maintain my cause, and execute judgment for me, Until he bring me to the light, And I behold his mercy.

۹ غضب خداوند را متحمل خواهم شد زیرا به او گناه ورزیده‌ام تا او دعوی مرا فیصل کند و داوری مرابجا آورد. پس مرا به روشنایی بیرون خواهدآورد و عدالت او را مشاهده خواهم نمود.

10 She that is my enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her, That said to me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall gaze upon her; Soon shall she be trodden down, as the mire of the streets.

۱۰ دشمنم این را خواهد دید و خجالت او راخواهد پوشانید زیرا به من می‌گوید: یهوه خدای تو کجا است؟ چشمانم بر او خواهد نگریست واو الان مثل گل کوچه‌ها پایمال خواهد شد.

11 The day cometh when thy walls are to be built; In that day shall the decree be far removed.

۱۱ درروز بنا نمودن دیوارهایت در آن روز شریعت دور خواهد شد.

12 In that day shall they come to thee From Assyria, and the cities of Egypt, And from Egypt to the river, From sea to sea, from mountain to mountain.

۱۲ در آن روز از آشور و ازشهرهای مصر و از مصر تا نهر (فرات ) و از دریا تادریا و از کوه تا کوه نزد تو خواهند آمد.

13 But first the land shall be desolate on account of its inhabitants, For the fruit of their doings.

۱۳ و زمین به‌سبب ساکنانش، به جهت نتیجه اعمالشان ویران خواهد شد.

14 Feed thy people with thy crook, The flock of thine inheritance, That dwell solitarily in the forest in the midst of Carmel! Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

۱۴ قوم خود را به عصای خویش شبانی کن وگوسفندان میراث خود را که در جنگل و در میان کرمل به تنهایی ساکن می‌باشند. ایشان مثل ایام سابق در باشان و جلعاد بچرند.

15 As in the day when thou camest from Egypt, So will I show thee wonders.

۱۵ مثل ایامی که ازمصر بیرون آمدی کارهای عجیب به او نشان خواهم داد.

16 The nations shall see, and be ashamed of all their might: They shall lay their hands upon their mouths; Their ears shall be deaf.

۱۶ امت‌ها چون این را بینند، از تمامی توانایی خویش خجل خواهند شد و دست بردهان خواهند گذاشت و گوشهای ایشان کرخواهد شد.

17 They shall lick the dust like the serpent; Like the creeping things of the earth, they shall come trembling from their strongholds; To Jehovah our God shall they come with awe, And shall fear on account of thee.

۱۷ مثل مار خاک را خواهند لیسید ومانند حشرات زمین از سوراخهای خود با لرزه بیرون خواهند آمد و بسوی یهوه خدای ما باخوف خواهند آمد و از تو خواهند ترسید.

18 Who is a God like thee, that pardoneth iniquity and passeth by transgression, In the remnant of his inheritance? He retaineth not his anger forever, For he delighteth in mercy.

۱۸ کیست خدایی مثل تو که عصیان را می‌آمرزدو از تقصیر بقیه میراث خویش درمی گذرد. اوخشم خود را تا به ابد نگاه نمی دارد زیرا رحمت را دوست می‌دارد.

19 He will again have compassion on us, He will blot out our iniquities; Yea, thou wilt cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

۱۹ او باز رجوع کرده، بر مارحمت خواهد نمود و عصیان ما را پایمال خواهد کرد و تو جمیع گناهان ایشان را به عمق های دریا خواهی انداخت.

20 Thou wilt show faithfulness to Jacob, And mercy to Abraham, Which thou swarest to our fathers from the days of old.

۲۰ امانت را برای یعقوب و رافت را برای ابراهیم بجا خواهی آوردچنانکه در ایام سلف برای پدران ما قسم خوردی.
